He lives football, & knows it like the back of his hand. He has personality & wisdom mixed in with a sense of humour. And he's very good at telling interesting stories. Neal is the type of football manager that is quickly becoming a thing of the past & that fact really saddens me.

I think that the Club has recruited well over the summer & I believe that the players that have come in can bring Notts some success this season. I think we are just missing a good quality striker that could complete the jigsaw for Notts. Head Coach Martin Patterson wants some more incomings. I hope he gets his way & the brothers allow at least a good quality striker at this level to complete a good & positive summer of recruiting.

If he did go and that is a big if for say £500K, then I think Notts need to get another two strikers in with that £500K. I do think that Notts have been out flanked by most of the league 2 sides this season, & to sell Jatta at this very late stage, would I'm sure, make a lot of the fanbase unhappy unless the Reedtz brothers quickly make a move in the market. Problem is, I would say that the vast majority, if not all of the very best strikers have been taken unfortunately. I hope that the rumours are not true & Notts can get Jatta to sign a new extended contract.

We need a good quality striker to replace Didzy & the owners are possibly going to have to fork out some money to acquire one. Possibly in the region of £250K to £350 K should get a decent goal scorer for this level. I don't understand why the club hasn't gave Traore a run in the B team for him to get some confidence. Scoring becomes a habit & scoring brings confidence. Other Clubs use the B team for that purpose so why not Notts. I think it could pay dividends for Traore and Notts.

Whether it's about parking, Whether it's problems about the failure to sell a club, or it is a matter of not fixing the ground and paying the players at another club. No excuses. The football authorities really do need to get a grip of this. It the fans that are suffering.
