Just an average weather day here. Plenty of cloud and just a few sunny intervals. It did rain here overnight so that was welcome for the garden. Had our food delivery today as usual & Mrs Robbie had planned to spring clean the Kitchen which we both completed working together. So it was quite a busy day. Watched a bit of Tennis from Wimbledon this evening. Looking forward to Brit Cameron Norrie playing his quarter final tomorrow. He playing Alcarez so it will be tough to win, but he's done well to get to this point.

The match has a 5:30 pm kick off tomorrow. Although I cannot be at the match I will be looking for the match updates online. I hope that the Notts App & the X account will have regular updates on the match. I agree that the match will be tough. I do think it is important that the Notts team is tested to the full so that we can see where they are. I'm sure that Martin will use just as many players like we saw at the Alfreton game. I hope that some of the players we didn't see at Alfreton will be given a run out if they are available. I would like to see where Martin will play Jatta, Traore & Dennis. Who will lead the line, & who will play just behind.

I do love that colour. Will be interesting to see what the design is. Looking forward to it's release.

Grant appeared 34 times for Notts including as substitute, he scored 4 goals & assisted 3 times, & his average rating on whoscored.com was 16th on a list of 31 players used by Notts last season,, but above Jarvis, Hinchy, Gordon & Austin, the latter being released at season's end. He did miss chances last season but so did everyone else. It depends how the new Head Coach rates him. If Notts do go for a similar type of player, then we will know that he'll have to fight for his place Edwards started well but wasn't the same after he came back from injury. Palmer hasn't been as influential since he returned from injury., Hinchy was never a regular under Maynard & Reynolds was loaned out. It wouldn't suprise me if Traore & Dennis weren't tried in the role just behind Jatta as Didzy was. We'll just have to see where these friendly matches takes us & which team out of the whole squad looks like it will be the starting 11 for the first league match.

We have an English Club in the Club World Cup semis.

Martin said all the right things for a first interview as the Notts Head Coach. It was good to see him working the players hard in training. I thought it was a good interview. Martin was informative & he was honest when he talked about the positives & negatives of the Notts performance. I don't think that we can make a judgement on Martin after just one game. It's a good start & his interview gave out good vibes, but we would expect that to be the case anyway. I will be judging him by his team's performance game by game rather than his performance in an interview.
