It's been a decent day here. Managed to get out into the garden & do plenty of weeding & picking up old tree leaves from around the house. Also walked ten thousand steps so all in all it was a busy day for both of us.

It's not just the Saudi's Manchester City is owned by Abu Dhabi United Group, an investment group linked to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the UAE royal family and current Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. (Source Google) There's lots of rumours that City will get away with any harsh punishment if found guilty for the alleged 115 charges it has been facing for the last few years. Wonder if the UAE connection will be a decisive factor when it comes to delivering a verdict?

I was surprised that there is no automatic promotion for tier 5 Scottish non league clubs into League 2, tier 4 of the Scottish league system. The champions of the East, West, & South of Scotland Leagues play in a playoff to determine one team that gets a chance to promote to the Lowland League The Lowland League champion then plays in a playoff with the Highland League champion, with the winner of that playoff playing the bottom club of the SPFL League Two for a place in the SPFL.

Notts hired Tyler Miller for a reason, to give them goalkeeping cover. The news that Bass is recovering & will be available soon will put Tyler further back in the pecking order. Alex Bass will return to the side as soon as he's available. Even if Tyler doesn't get a game he's still done a job for Notts.
