@allardyces tash totally agree. Junior has been treated unfairly. He can play right across the forward line even as a winger. I wonder if he was recalled by Joe Palmer?

Plenty of sun this morning but has gone cloudy this afternoon. Spent a couple of hours in the garden with the wife wedding, cutting the lawn edges & a general tidy up. Remove some more moss from the lawn. Using the scraper is giving me plenty of exercise. I suppose I'll suffer for it tomorrow morning being stiff as a board.

Your Wednesday Morning Weather

It's been a lovely sunny day here & it was warm in the sun but the wind was cold. Managed to get the grass cut in the back garden. Will do some more work tomorrow such as cutting the lawn edges & weeding.

I wouldn't call it one of the greatest. They should have called the camp one of the most notorious prisoner of war camps. Russian & Polish prisoners of war were treated terribly by the Germans during the war.Thousands upon thousands were used for forced Labour, & thousands were sent to concentration camps. This camp was more like a death camp than a prisoner of war camp. May all who died there rest in peace.

This is a surprise. I always wanted Junior to be given a chance, but it didn't seem that he was in Stuart's long term plans. Jatta will be on international duty soon, so this move must be to cover for him while he's away, & to give Notts more options other than Didzy & Traoré. I'm hoping that Junior does get an opportunity because just sitting on the bench is not what he wants I'm sure. I must say I'm a little concerned about Traore's fitness, & it doesn't seem as though Notts feel that Will Jarvis can do a job in the centre forward position.

If the decision was to be made now, I would say no. I think he has till the end of the season to show that he is worth keeping. If Notts were hoping that he would be a replacement for Dan Crowley, I don't think he is that type of player.

Junior has been recalled to bolster the Notts attacking options.

Good Morning everyone. It is cloudy here & looks like it rained overnight. Was hoping to give the grass a good first cut today but it is too wet. Was pleased to see that it appears that the UK has a new Tennis star to carry on from Andy Murray's successes. Jack Draper has just won what is regarded as the "fifth Grand Slam", the Indian Wells Masters 1000. He goes up to number seven in the men's rankings.

It's great to see another side win a major trophy rather than Liverpool & Man City for a change. Eddie Howe has worked incredibly hard to build a decent Newcastle side. Of course he is backed by very wealthy owners & lots of cash to build a competitive side, but I am pleased for the Newcastle fans who have been starved of success for so long. I believed that Eddie Howe deserved the England manager's job & maybe one day he may get that job if he continues to get success at Newcastle. I'm sure the Newcastle fans will be partying well into the night & for many days to come.
