  1. Good Morning. Looks like it's going to be a lovely day here once again. I planned to cut the grass yesterday, but it looks like we have a Queen Bumblebee, making a nest below our old tree stump. We have seen this large bee going into a small hole below the stump a few times When we were sitting in the garden the Bee was head bumping us. We have researched it & learned that bees head bumping is a warning to stay away from the nest. We are going to monitor it's movements today. A Bee nest underground can grow into up to 400 Bees depending on the Bumble Bee species. If it is a nest it's going to be an interesting summer to say the least.
  2. It is clear that their needs to be a football regulator in place as soon as possible. There is talk of watering down the regulator's powers so as to not discourage foreign investment in the Premier League and EFL. I personally think this would be a big mistake. I also think that the loopholes in the regulations that allowed Chelsea to basically sell it's Women's team back to itself should be closed. For me allowing clubs to do this makes a mockery of the profit and sustainability rules.
  3. Listening to Stuart in his pre MK Dons presser, Lucas Ness is close to being considered for his return to the side after injury. McDonald & Jones are coming on well with their recoveries too. Hopefully we will see all three back in contention very soon. Regarding the match against MK Dons, Stuart believes it will be a very tough match because they have very good players which could easily turn a match for them. It goes without saying that Notts will have to be at their best again to get a favourable result.
  4. Nice to see Forest getting the better of another Manchester Club & that solo goal from Elanga was something else.
  5. @menzinho exactly. It's been a remarkable season for so many teams at the top finding it very hard to put a consistent run together.
  6. I believe that Sam deserves to keep his place in the Notts side. He has three clean sheets to his name since he replaced Alex.
  7. Your Wednesday Morning Weather
  8. Good news for Notts. Bradford, Wimbledon & Grimsby all lost. Doncaster, Walsall & Colchester drew. Not so good. Chesterfield, Crewe, & Port Vale all won. So the league table stands like this after the Tuesday matches. Notts could climb to fourth place if they win on Wednesday.
  9. Quoted from this article below. "Chelsea says the transfer of ownership will “ensure CFCW has dedicated resources, management and commercial leadership solely focused on the growth and success of the women’s team”. "However, critics have suggested the move was designed to ensure compliance with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR)". "The sale of club-owned assets to a related company is allowed under Premier League rules but must be for fair market value. The transaction did trigger an assessment of the sale by the Premier League under its associated party transaction (APT) rules". "A move to bring in an outright ban on such sales was narrowly voted down at the league’s annual general meeting last June". 10. Chelsea sell their women's team to their parent company. How is this allowed?
  11. Looks like the freezing of season ticket prices has been incredibly popular with the fans reading all the feedback.
  12. Your 4cast for Tuesday
  13. Crawley 1 - 2 Peterborough Lincoln 1 -1 Huddersfield Northampton 1 -1 Rotherham Crewe 1 - 1 Grimsby Doncaster 1 - 1 Walsall Harrogate 2 - 0 Tranmere 🤡 Aldershot 2 - 1 Fylde Wealdstone 1 - 1 Boston
  14. Great news for season ticket holders.Renewal prices have been frozen for the 2025/26 season.
  15. Good evening. It's been a lovely day here. We both spent some time outside walking & completing 10K steps which is just over 4 miles. After lunch we both sat out in the garden soaking up the sun & fresh air. Looks like the weather is going to be fine this week so tomorrow it will be cut the lawn time.
  16. Another must win game for Notts against a side that has had some dissapointing results of late. I think Mk Dons are in a false position in the league & they are a very dangerous side & must not be underestimated by the Notts fans. I'm sure that Nemane and Crowley will be fired up to prove a point & Notts will need to be at their very best to counter their threat. I would pick the same team that played so well at Newport. We know that Notts have struggled at home against teams that are content to defend & hit Notts on the break. I do believe that the Dons will want to play some football against Notts & that might give the Notts players more space to work some magic. I really do hope that is the case. I think it will be a very close match & the odd goal will probably win it. If Notts can keep it tight at the back & pinch that odd goal, I think they can get the result we all want
  17. @liampie Tyler only has a contract with Notts till the 30th of June so I'm assuming that him coming to Notts is only for short term cover while Bass is recovering from his injury.
