  1. The manager merry-go-round continues. Why would manager leave a club 2nd in League 1 for a club just 2 points above the relegation places in the Championship? He must be getting a massive salary increase. Seems to me Managers aren't too bothered about getting trophies nowadays. It would be a laugh if Wycombe get promoted & Luton get relegated at the end of the season.
  2. Weather for Tuesday Morning
  3. It's not just the fact that Crowley might be going to MK Dons. It's also that they are rivals with Notts for promotion too He'll also be able to link up well with Nemane, which isn't good news for the rest of the Division either. By all means sell him. Every player has his price, but selling him to a promotion rival could come back to bite us big I would have at least put a clause in the transfer, that he couldn't play in the match against us on the 1st April at Meadow Lane.
  4. Very dissapointing if this rumour is true. The rumour that the fee is £300k would be an absolute giveaway in my opinion. The fact that the club is rumoured to be MK Dons is another body blow. Why would Notts sell to a League 2 rival? And surely Dan would want to go to a League 1 club at the very least if he was keen on leaving. If the rumour is true it doesn't make a lot of sense
  5. A new completion has been proposed called the Welsh League Cup. Four Welsh sides, Wrexham , Swansea, Cardiff & Newport who play in the English League would be joined by 12 Welsh Clubs that play in the Welsh Premier League. The winner of the competition would qualify for European competition. The FAW says the competition winner will go into the qualifying rounds of a UEFA club competition. Is this just another way to try to make money once again? Wrexham, Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County to enter new Welsh League Cup format with European access | Football News | Sky Sports WWW.SKYSPORTS.COM The proposal, subject to FA approval, would see Wrexham, Cardiff, Swansea and...
  6. Charlie has signed a six month contract. I'm sure that suits both parties for now. Hopefully, Charlie will impress and if Notts are happy with his performances, they will offer him a longer contract. What a great day it's been. It shows that Notts are looking towards the future & also at the same time they are strengthening the squad in vital areas. I'm very happy with his acquisition & I'm looking forward to him playing a part in hopefully a successful end to the season for Notts.
  7. More info on Zac Johnson. "Johnson began his playing career at his hometown club Sunderland and made his first appearance in the EFL Trophy on 13 October 2021 coming on as a substitute in a 2–1 victory against Manchester United U 21s". "At 16 years and 141 days old, this appearance made Zak the youngest outfield player to play for Sunderland in almost 50 years". Zak Johnson - Wikipedia EN.M.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
  8. Rumours are just Rumours, but it would be a big coup for Notts if they could sign him. He would be competition for Dan Crowley, but he would also be a great replacement if Dan decided to leave. I like the way that the Reedtz brothers are always looking ahead & are always keen to bring in young players that can only improve.
  9. I watched the Tamworth v Spurs match at lunchtime today. It was a great match, & Tamworth played so well defensively & could easily have won it in injury time after 90 minutes. The match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes. In the past Tamworth would have earned a well earned replay at the new Spurs stadium. The new FA Cup format is no replays. Extra time is played instead if a match ends all square after 90 minutes. I personally think it is wrong that FA Cup replays have been abolished. Extra time only suits the PL club, as we saw today when Spurs ran out 0:3 winners after extra time. The talk on social media is that Tamworth were denied a much needed pay day, by not having a replay as they would have done in the past, & I agree with this notion. What do PON members think about not having FA Cup replays? I just think that the FA Cup is not the competition it used to be. It's been devalued.
  10. Your Monday Morning Weather.
  11. League table Sunday 12/01/25 Notts in seventh place. Northampton top of the league.
  12. The Ladies played well against a very good side and are getting closer to these top teams.. I think the final score flattered Northampton today.
  13. The second match that beat the weather. Swindon 0-0 Crewe. Up to date table.
  14. Result in the early kick off today. 11/01/25 Walsall 5 - 1 Tranmere Walsall cement their position at the top of League 2. They look unstoppable.
  15. Notts Women are scheduled to meet Northampton Town on Sunday 12th January at Coronation Park Eastwood.
  16. Good Morning. The match has been called off between Grimsby & Notts just 1.5 hours before the match was due to start. I'm so upset for the many hundreds of fans that made the journey this morning. Why wasn't there a Referee's inspection last night? Without undersoil heating the match was always going to be in doubt. They desperately wanted the match to go ahead for the sake of the TV coverage. Lessons are never learned from previous times when matches were called off late.
