  1. The training facilities are an exciting development along with the partnership with Nottingham University . I think that planned improvements to the stadium is an exciting development. I think the safe standing plans will be very popular as well as opening the Jimmy Sirrel stand to home supporters. I hope that if Notts do get promoted, the Club will look to increase the capacity of the stadium as they get higher in the football pyramid. Also the club looking to strengthen in the January Window is welcome too.

  3. Wrap up well if going out. It's going to be cold one
  4. It was a very good win. Well done to all
  5. I am sure it will be a very enjoyable evening for Notts fans I won't be able to attend in person myself, but will watch the podcast because I think the discussions will be lively & informative. I will mark my calendar for the 6th December & will be looking forward to it
  6. @TheSkipper Agree. Teams always seem to play the same tactics against us at meadow lane. They always instigate a high press against us to try to steal the ball off us through sloppy passing due to their pressure. We've cut that out quite aot but it still happens. Then they sit back & challenge us to break them down. When we have Jatta in the side, we seem to be able to counter such tactics. Not so much though when Jatta is missing.
  7. Good Afternoon. It is cold outside, but it appears there is a slow thaw in the sun going on in our back garden. Pleased to say that our large hydrangea looks a lot more healthier & happier now the snow has melted off it. Our American lilac bush had lots of snow on it but has taken the extra weight in its stride with no ill effects. We got our electric convector heater out of storage & thought we would have it as a back up. But having checked how much the lowest setting, = to 1.5kw was using cost wise, it was 37p per hour, it will be used just as a back up of last resort if necessary.
  8. We could have more snow on Saturday before it becomes milder. Weather warning for heavy snow and rain for parts of Nottinghamshire and East Midlands | West Bridgford Wire WESTBRIDGFORDWIRE.COM A winter weather system is set to impact the UK this Saturday, bringing a mix of...
  9. Every game is important in this league. Each game is important because every team in this league is capable of beating any other team. The challenge of Newport County on Saturday will be no different. They are a very dangerous side to anyone, who isn't 100% on their game. Newport may have lost 8 games but they have won 6 including wins over Doncaster, Crewe, & Gillingham. Newport only sit 7 points behind Notts in the table, so they cannot be underestimated. Notts need to be at their very best. I'm hoping that we are going to see some of the injured players returning. We know that Jatta will be back which will be a big boost. Didzy will be available, but we don't know the situation regarding Dan Crowley. Hopefully he'll be available soon. Notts should revert back to their favourite 3-4-2-1 formation on Saturday. I think that formation suits Notts better than any other. I'll post my squad for the game later on in the week, but I think that the defence & central midfield picks themselves. Unfortunately, Bedeau will be missing due to suspension.
  10. Your Weather for Wednesday Morning
  11. The biggest takeaway that I got from the fans forum was that the Club was looking to strengthen the squad in January. (Via K-Ci Rennicks) That's very good news.
  12. Fans Forum tonight. Did any PON members go? Notts are saying there will be a recording available after the forum has finished for those who couldn't attend.
  13. I think that watching your team in the winter months is just part of being a football fan. When we stood on the terraces I always felt a lot more comfortable & warmer in winter than sitting down. I tend to feel the cold much more sitting down, even though I'm well wrapped up.
  14. Temperatures set to plummet this Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
  15. @liampie San Marino beat Leitchtenstein 1:0 in an earlier league game.
  16. It's going to be cold as we go into Wednesday Morning.
  17. Your Tuesday Afternoon Weather
  18. Good Morning all. The snow has now stopped and the snow is falling off the trees outside a little. Our beautiful Hydrangea looked a tad sorry weighted down by the snow. I cleaned the snow off gently, but a few branches had broken unfortunately. Checking the depth it appears we had about four to five inches here. Most we've had here for a few years To get on the main road we have to drive up a fairly steep hill about 150 metres long. Always awkward for cars in the snow. We've asked the council for a sand box, but without success. I wonder if Notts will connect the under soil heating?
  19. Update. The Notts B Team game against Mansfield has been called off this morning due to the snow.
  20. Take care when travelling to work this Tuesday morning.
