Weather improving for the rest of Tuesday

Looking forward to the game at Meadow Lane on Thursday. I think the side that finished the game against Fleetwood pick themselves in my opinion. If fit, Palmer & Robertson have to start in Midfield & Tsaroulla has to start at left wing back. I would swap Scott for McGoldrick to partner Jatta up front. If fit after his bruising encounter against Fleetwood, I would allow Jones a free role on either the left, right or centre. I would keep Macari as right wing back as he did well against Fleetwood. Notts were quite pedestrian at times against Fleetwood so they need to speed up with movement in midfield & upfront against Grimsby. Notts need to cut out the sloppy defending & be a bit more clinical in attack. Converting chances into goals is the key. I'm hoping for that first win of the season on Thursday evening. I think Notts will win 3. A clean sheet would be ven better.

Tsaroulla has to be in the team to face Grimsby. It's a no brainer.

Weather for Tuesday Morning

His signing didn't work out very well though. He was a huge disappointment.

Your Monday Morning Weather

The Beer is flowing at the Nest.

JATTA on the mark once again.

As cool and calm as you like.

Macca watching from the stands. Can't keep him away.

Notts could easily have won that match today 5:2. Notts had plenty of possession. Very frustrating though to concede 2 goals, but I am delighted that the team showed belief, character & fighting spirit to come back The second half by Notts was very good apart from conceding that early second half goal Notts created many chances in the second half and we're the better side over 95 minutes. Let's be sure, more work to do, & the team needs to gel more & it will come. Pleased to get a point. Notts move on to face Grimsby at Meadow Lane on Thursday. PS, I think we need a Striker to come in who has pace and can create space for others just like Macca used to do. And please, don't let Crowley or Jones go. They make things happen for Notts big time.

That's how it finishes. Notts 2 Fleetwood 0 Positives. Great character shown to come from 0:2 down. Great fighting spirit by Notts. MATTY PALMER BACK. Negatives. Tighten up on crosses & free kicks into the box. Watch out for being hit on the break.

JONES!! Jodi scores from the penalty.

McGoldrick gets a yellow card stopping a dangerous break. Similar to last season, we are getting hit on the break. Penalty to Notts

McGoldrick comes on for Scott. Notts 1 Fleetwood 2. 80 mins.

So close to the equaliser. Notts 1 Fleetwood 2. 74 mins Should have had three or four by now. It's all Notts at the moment. Notts 1 Fleetwood 2

Substitutions for Notts. Welcome back Palmer. Notts 1 Fleetwood 2. 63 mins

Should have scored Dan. Notts 0 Fleetwood 2 JATTA!!! Notts 1 Fleetwood 2 Great work by Crowley to release Macari who crossed for the big man to stab it home.

Back to it. Notts 0 Fleetwood 1. Oh dear this is not good.

We have plenty of possession but not doing a lot with it. The thing about Macca, his reputation was such that the opposition would concentrate on him and that would make space for others. At the moment Jatta & Scott are not getting that space. Notts 0 Fleetwood 1. 42 mins.

Notts have had all the possession but concede from a Fleetwood corner. Notts 0 Fleetwood 1.

First 20 minutes, Fleetwood not pressing at all, happy to give Notts possession and try to create a chance on the break Notts 0 Fleetwood 0 Matty Platt get a yellow card for a four. 23 mins. Notts 0 Fleetwood 0

Match begins.
