It's Matchday. CMON U PIES!!

Notts County has Kept 15 clean sheets in their 48 matches overall this season across all competitions. That's 31% of the 48 matches played.

I think that it was great to see so many players (19) getting a Man of the Match award. It's maybe surprising to some that Macari & Hall didn't get an award, but some players can perform steadily all season without standing out in a particular match. The fact that Martin kept picking them shows that he values their contribution. Players like Grant & Bedeau with two awards & Bennetts with one were three other players that are valuable to the squad & played a large number of games. Matt Palmer is a fans favourite so it's no surprise that he received a large number of votes, especially earlier on in the season when there were lots of members voting. As for Aljofree he started reasonably well in the first few games, but other defenders were deemed more solid & he lost his place. I do believe that the players that stood out over the season finished near the top of the list, however if McDonald, Platt, Jatta, Robertson & Belshaw could have played many more games, I think we may have seen a close race for the most Gongs awarded.

We've got to start with Norburn and Robertson in the centre of midfield otherwise Salford will bully us. Iorpenda has to be partnering Luker in the AM area. I don't think Martin should make any changes. Keep the side together that did so well against Chesterfield.

Hull have scored in the 94th minute Hull have won. I'm really pleased about that. They deserve it after all the shenanigans.

I've done a spreadsheet giving some additional info. Column A is player appearances. Column B is total votes. Column C is number of wins. Column D is position.

Another good read from BBC Sport. The build up to Monday's match continues.BBC SportJames Belshaw reflects on Notts County's turbulent histor...Notts County goalkeeper and lifelong fan James Belshaw says the club's chequered history makes Monday's League Two play-off final something to savour.

The number of votes cast during the season made for interesting reading too. Iorpenda got 91 votes including those 8 wins. Tsaroulla got 117 votes including those 5 wins Palmer got a total of 166 votes during the season including his 4 wins. McDonald got 113 votes with his 4 wins. Bedeau got 19 votes with his two wins. So Iorpenda, Tsaroulla, Palmer & McDonald were the top 4.

Martin talked to BBC Nottingham Sport regarding Monday's playoff final.

It would have been interesting to see how many M of the M Matty Platt & Rod McDonald would have collected if they hadn't been injured., but I think that Tim Iorpenda deserved his accolade.

Here follows the PON Man of the Match number of wins with the Playoff Final to go.Tom Iorpenda: 8 winsNick Tsaroulla: 5Matt Palmer: 4Rod McDonald: 4Matty Platt: 4Alassana Jatta: 4James Belshaw: 3Scott Robertson: 3Matt Dennis: 2Jodi Jones: 2Conor Grant: 2Lucas Ness: 2Jacob Bedeau: 2Kelle Roos: 2Ollie Norburn: 2Keenan Bennetts: 1Lee Ndlovu: 1Luke Browne: 1Will Jarvis: 1So on the amount of wins Tom Iorpenda is the PON player of the season.

I'm generally happy with the squad that Tuchel as chosen for this year's World Cup, but I'm surprised that Morgan Gibbs-White didn't make it along with Harry Maguire, Those two players will be very disappointed. Morgan was the form midfielder over the last three months or so & Harry always gives his best for England. Of course everyone will have their own opinions on the selections & Tuchel has made his choice & his is the opinion that counts. He will be the one that will be judged as to whether he made the right choices.

The England squad has been selected for the World Cup.👇
