It's Matchday. Playoff semi-final first leg. Crewe A v Doncaster R The playoff semi-final first leg between Crawley v MK Dons has been postponed due to waterlogged pitch.

I believe that the Notts squad do need more League 2 experience. I believe that for this round of recruitment we should be looking to recruit from the EFL. I admit that players that we have recruited from the lower leagues, like Langstaff have been a success this season. But I believe that if Notts are going to challenge for promotion this season we need to look for players with either league one or league two experience this time. As we have discussed before, we need to have players that can compete with the physicality of League 2, which was sadly lacking this season. Experience is going to be the key this time. Notts need to prioritise League 2 experience in the summer transfer window. Am I right or wrong?

This is a very interesting and revealing stat that the Notts squad were clearly lacking the top three when it came to squad League 2 experience. I think that it clearly shows that we need to recruit experienced League 2 players for next season, to have a much better chance of being promoted from this league.

@ARLukomski Do you see Macari keeping his place within the team & Cameron/Bajrami as squad players who will have to fight for their place, & do you expect the newbies to come straight into the Notts side?

@KB1862 I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but let's be honest, the PL & the TV Companies want the PL title race to go to the last game for maximum exposure, worldwide viewing, and potential extra TV advertising revenue. NFFC won't get to hear if they have any points returned, pending their appeal, till the last minute because the powers that be want the relegation battle to go to the last game too. Unfortunately in the PL now, money sets the agenda.

@ARLukomski If Jodi stays & Notts want to play both Jodi and Aaron next season, do you think Notts will go to a flat back four to bolster the defence and use Jodi & Aaron as traditional wingers or maybe just play Jodi, so Notts can stick with 3 midfielders, or again play both & have one striker instead of two?
