This thread is to give you updates on important news regarding the Womens & Girls teams throughout the Summer and close season.- Is VAR Ruining Football?
Another clanger by a Referee and Linesman, this time in injury time at the end of the Champions League Semi final 2nd leg between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich when Bayern scored a goal but it was ruled out for offside. The Linesman put his flag up for offside and VAR could not intervene. The Linesman should have waited till play had stopped before putting up his flag. Let's be honest here, the footballing authorities didn't want an all German final at Wembley- The New Meadow Lane Pitch

- Luke O'Nien Handball - Red Card?
It's a professional foul. He is deliberately stopping the ball illegally by the use of his hand. As far as I'm concerned, a professional foul should be treated as serious foul play and the player should have a red card The action by the offending player is not in the spirit of the game either. There needs to be some kind of deterrence put into the game to try to stop this sort of foul play happening. If a player decides to do this there should be an appropriate punishment to fit the crime so to speak.- Ruben Rodriguez
Ruben and his team have made it to the League 1 playoff final.- Macaulay Langstaff Goalscoring Phenomenon.
Macaulay is top of the pile in the top five tiers for the last two seasons.- Notts County performance of the season
My Notts County performance of the season was away against Bradford City. Notts had a poor pitch to contend with as well as a decent Bradford side still challenging for a play off space.- Ruben Rodriguez
Oxford take a 1:0 lead into the 2nd leg of their playoff semi final against Peterborough tonight.- UK Weather Watch.

- Victory in Europe Day. 79th Anniversary!
Just a reminder to everyone that today is the 79th anniversary of VE day when the Country celebrated it's victory over the Nazis. It's a day in which we are reminded that it is always worth fighting to keep our freedom from those who wish to take it away.- PL Financial Fair Play Rules.
When the smaller clubs in the Premier League are forced to sell their best players to remain on the right side of the FFP rules, they shouldn't sell to the top six PL clubs, they should sell to teams either in Europe or Worldwide. If the top six are starved of the best talent, the PL would slowly become more equal once again.Important Information
