  1. There are 5 games to go. I'm sure Stuart wants to win every one of them. He may put a couple of youngsters on the bench on Saturday, however, I am sure Stuart will play his strongest side available. Some players are going to be playing for their EFL futures, some will want to impress if they are hoping to move on up the EFL pyramid. All the team should be well motivated to put in another good performance against Harrogate for the reasons I've specified. I hope to see Cedwyn Scott get 20 minutes or so in the second half two. I expect Stuart will want to start with the same starting lineup as we saw against the Dons, if not, then he will put players in that have a lot to prove. Again as in every game, the focus will be on the defence. My advice for our defenders, if in doubt, kick it out or upfield to Jatta. My advice for Ashley-Hamnond, mix the distribution up, go long on occasions, punt it upfield on occasions. My advice to the wingbacks, get those crosses coming in for Jatta. If we avoid the defeat, I will be happy, but we are very capable of getting that much needed home win for Stuart. CMON U PIES.

  7. Thanks for the well detailed info @DangerousSausage I'm fascinated by the German football finances. Do you think that the financial rules for the German leagues are good rules and do they prevent league clubs going out of business? Do the fans get a bigger say in the running of clubs over there too? Could the German financial model work here for our lower leagues?
  8. I used to follow German Football in the 70s and 80s when they had great East German teams like Dynamo Dresden & Dynamo Berlin. I don't think those teams exist today or do they in another name? I have heard of a Hertha Berlin, is that the same team? There was big talk of Kane going over to Germany to get trophies and play in Europe. Pleased that he has scored 30, that says he's still sharp enough to play for England. There's talk of him coming back to Spurs but that's just the rumour mill in overdrive I think. Another big team from yesteryear is Cologne but I heard they went down the league pyramid. I remember Hamburg and Kevin Keegan too. Do the fans of smaller clubs in Germany have an issue with FFP rules that seem to favour the bigger clubs here and must have an impact over there too? I think it's good that a team other than Bayern Munich are set to win the title.
  9. Of course he is the reason we are in League 2 and we will be always thankful to him for that, however, he failed to identify that the team that got us promoted was not fully good enough for league 2, whether it be mistaken loyalty or other factors. Luke lost 9 of his last 15 games in charge at Notts. Then he skidaddled leaving it to another Head Coach. Luke's failure to rectify the problems in our defence, when he had lots of time to do so, has gone a long way in costing us a playoff place, because Stuart was left with what is Luke's team apart from Warner, Robertson, Jatta & Ashley-Hamnond.
  10. Half the side are simply not good enough for league 2, we all know that. That's down to the previous Manager not sorting the problems out when he had plenty of opportunity to do so. Most on social media were praising Stuart and the side after the game Some people need to get over Luke Williams. He got us promoted then messed things up big time. Looks like the owners want to give Stuart time. We weren't ready for promotion anyway. I remember big Sam had a very bad start and people at the time were calling for his head too. Look how that turned out
  11. On social media those who had sat in the cop said that those so called supporters put their banner away when we equalised but never celebrated our goal. I
  12. @Super_Danny_Allsopp Austin was injured, so it was a forced change, and Stuart changed to another midfielder. Bostock isn't the player he was earlier in the season, Jatta had run his socks off and his not yet up to full fitness and was taken off for McGoldrick who is regarded as one of our best players. Just remember, Stuart selected Jatta to start the game ahead of McGoldrick so that was a good move on Stuart's part. Ashley-Hamnond, Austin, and Jatta were picks that paid off today, Jones was another good substitution that supplied an assist for the third goal. So all in all it was a good game for Stuart, You can't blame him for individual defensive errors either.
