Pity that things didn't quite work out for Kellan at Notts. He had a few good games for Notts but I always thought that he was inconsistent with his performances. Unfortunately he was unable to get a regular place in the starting eleven this season. The move is probably best for him and Notts. I do wish him luck at Crawley.

From the Notts Website Kellan Gordon has returned to Crawley Town on a permanent transfer. "The wing back, who was part of the Red Devils’ 2023-24 promotion-winning team, will not be eligible to play for either club when we visit Broadfield Stadium tomorrow. Gordon made 48 appearances, scoring twice, after joining us ahead of the 2024-25 season. He leaves with our best wishes for the future".

Notts will be wanting to get back to winning ways against a Crawley side that are currently in the bottom 4 in League 2 with just 4 wins in their 25 matches played Crawley's recent form is not good with 4 defeats & 1 draw in their last 5 matches, even so, Crawley will make it very hard for Notts, & they should not be underestimated. Notts have two new players recruited during the transfer window Goalkeeper, James Belshaw, & Forward, Beck- Ray Enoru. It will be interesting if they will both be in contention for a place in the Notts 11 against Crawley. I suspect that Belshaw will start in goal for his Notts debut & Enoru will be on the bench. Hopefully, Matt Palmer will be back after his injury & will be in contention for the match. It is going to be another tough match for Notts despite the position Crawley find themselves in League 2. I expect it will be a close fought tussle, but I do believe Notts can get the win.

Kelle Roos will spend the remainder of the 2025-26 season on loan at Kilmarnock. This move confirms that recent acquisition James Belshaw will be the new Notts number one goalkeeper. Does that mean that Notts will be looking to replace Roos as cover for Belshaw or will Notts continue to keep Griffiths as number two? I wish Kelle Roos good luck in his move to Kilmarnock & hope he can do a good job for them.

I'm very encouraged by this signing. He's one of our own, so I am sure he is keen to make his mark & fight for the number one position. A few more quality signings & Notts could have a good second half to the season. Hopefully these new signings can settle into their new surroundings very quickly.
