  1. Swimming World Bronze. It's a storming freestyle leg from Anna Hopkin and Britain grab bronze in the 4x100m mixed medley relay
  2. Your Panthers team against Dundee tonight.
  3. It's very early days but the signs are very encouraging. Stuart's influence on the team since he started his work as Head Coach is clear to see. His little tweaks with the shape, style and tactics paid dividends tonight. Several players took on different roles tonight, but a role they are used too. Starting with a traditional back four. Macca looked comfortable as a winger, Macari as a full back, Robertson in the centre of midfield driving the play, Didzy leading the line, & last but not least, Jodi, who could express himself with a free role. I'm sure Stuart will tinker a little more depending on who we play, but I must say Notts looked more of a balanced team than we have witnessed for months. That's down to Stuart Maynard and his team.
  4. Your Weather for Wednesday evening. Cloudy and very mild for most this evening with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in places, this turning increasingly persistent and heavier in some western areas Still rather chilly for most of Scotland with a few clearer spells in the north
  5. Macaulay the provider for Didzy this time.
  6. Absolutely right on there @Wheelbarrow repair man I've been saying on social media he's worth at least £5 million + add-ons. He's simply a sensation and last night he played basically as a winger too.
  7. What a great stat for Macaulay. He's still making history for Notts
  8. It has been evident for months that a change was needed to try to prevent the amount of goals being conceded match after match. The changes that Stuart made for what turned out to be, the successful trip to Newport worked so well Changing to a back 4, a more defensive minded midfield & putting Didzy up front, supported by Macaulay & Jodi was a masterstroke by Stuart. The side has demonstrated that they can adapt to a new shape & style of play. In my opinion the side has picked itself for the trip to Wrexham if everyone is fit, so I see no changes for our game with them on Saturday. Every game is different of course, & there will need to be some tweaks to counter Wrexham's threat, particularly from set pieces. Every side we play will be weary of our attacking threat and Wrexham will be no different. I believe a 1:1 draw would be a great result for us, but a win would be tremendous. UPIES.
  9. If the Referee has clearly made a mistake with a sending off or not seen a clear foul in the penalty area or simply missed something important like a free kick being taken from the wrong place, VAR should be able to intervene.
  10. The goals tonight. The
  11. Post match Stuart's verdict on a great win.
  12. Wednesday morning Weather. A cold start to Wednesday in Scotland but a mostly bright and very frosty picture in the north at first Cloudier and much milder elsewhere with periods of rain and drizzle in places, this edging north and falling as snow in the southern Highlands of Scotland later.
  13. What a result in Wales with a new formation that worked for Stuart. Pity we didn't get the clean sheet, we certainly deserved it. Very soft penalty for them but 3:1 is tremendous. On to Wrexham on Saturday with renewed confidence. Absolutely over the moon tonight. The playoffs are still possible. First win of 10 needed.
  14. Surely @KB1862 if the Ref has marked the pitch, if the ball is moved outside that mark, and a goal results from that free kick, the goal should be disallowed by VAR and the offending player booked. This is the problem with VAR. I think some rules need to be rewritten.
  15. Notts team to face Newport tonight. Ashby-Hammond Debut Macari in for Nemane. Looks like a back 4, but we'll see.
  16. It will be tough for GB Hockey to qualify for the Olympics. This is a tough group to qualify from.
  17. This looks like a good team for the match tonight.
