Cedwyn Scott on being No. 9
Cedwyn sounds very Positive hopefully he can convert that into goals for the Magpies. If he can score between 10-15, he'll have done well, particularly after listening to the part of the interview, when the Doctor said the injury could be Career ending. Not only does he have to be Physically Fit, but his Mental Health needs to be right, so he doesn't find himself pulling out of certain situations during a match. I would hope Notts have people on their Staff to get Cedwyn over any problems in that Area. One thing else People Don't Expect Him to Score 30 goals this season.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - Super White Army (A)
I hope Notts have put their Dismal Preseason behind them and Don't Carry that form into the League Campaign. Otherwise I see a 3-1 drubbing.

Away kits revealed
Not a Fan of Either. If I had to choose maybe the Blue one. Because an actual Magpie has blue feathers. Always been a Fan of the Black & White stripes would prefer it if Notts play in those colours both Home & Away. For any Colour clash in Away Games a Simple White Shirt. Save the Club money instead of going for Bright Orange. All that's needed now is white shorts and Orange Socks and the players will look like Traffic Cones.

Hopes & Fears for the 2024/25 Season
Positives 1) Chris & Alex still own the Club. 2) Better Defence (on paper anyway) 3) Top Notch Playing Surface. 4) Jatta's looking sharp (hopefully will get into double figure s goal wise) 5) Matty Palmer is getting back to full fitness. (Hope is injury doesn't have any lasting effect on his game) 6) Cedwyn Scott (as above) 7) Hoping for a Higher Finish than 14th. Negatives 1) Macca's Gone. 2) Stuart Maynard is he the Right Coach to Push Notts Forward? 3) Still Playing Tippy Tappy Football, which doesn't work in League 2 4) No Leadership on the Pitch. 5) Still leaking to many goals in Matches 6) Notts haven't got the Strike force they've had in the last couple of Seasons. 7) Notts getting Relegated back into the National League.

Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
@liampie No Insult Intended. Why? The Story is my Copyright and I have every right to Change things around if Need Be. If I knew how to get the Thread Deleted I would have Done so. It would appear that apparently My Original Title was Clickbait (?) so get rid of Everything Problem Solved.

Quite So @Robbie something isn't right. Then again Macca is No Longer Notts Problem. I Only Hope The Lad Isn't Affected by All these Shenanigans.

Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
@Robbie Thankyou for your Support for the Original Thread.

Could there More to the Rumour of him signing for Leeds? And the injury story was just a ruse regarding his departure from the Millwall Spanish Training camp ? One can Only Wonder Eh @Robbie ?

Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
@Fan of Big Tone How this Clickbait? My Topic is in reference to a BBC post entitled who is Forest Portuguese Grealish. I then go on to explain who he is and why they think he looks like Jack Grealish. @Piethagoram saw the joke as indicated by his Laughing Emoji.
-
Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
@Chris Why have you changed the Title? It wasn't Clickbait, it was taken from a BBC Sports report entitled who is Forest's Portuguese Grealish. I have gone on to explain this in the Topic. the only I wrong was the Guy's name which I will Alter. Forest sign Jota Silva doesn't have the same Punch has Forest sign Grealish. And will probably Not get as many views because Notts Fans couldn't careless about who Forest Sign. I would like it turned back to it's Original Title. Please. By Changing the Title the Topic has become Nonsensical. And it has little Baring on what I've written.

Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
@Fan of Big Tone Would the Title of Forest Sign Grealish Lookalike , bring as Much Attention as my Original Title? No. People will be more Interested in reading about Forest signing Grealish than his Lookalike. Then Again the Title doesn't read Forest Sign Jack Grealish. People just Assume, it's Jack.

Good Luck To You @Robbie but I think you may be Flogging a Dead Horse. Because has you have said the SNUS Addiction of Players is Something that People Want Buried. What will it take for this to be Brought into the Spotlight? Some World Class Player Collapses and Dies on the Pitch in Front of Thousands of Fans and his Death can be linked to his use of the SNUS Drug. That Statement is a Morbid One I Know but it's Probably the only way the Use of this Drug will be brought back to the Forefront of Awareness.

Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
Big News today, that our Friends across the Trent have signed Jack Grealish. Well his Portuguese Look Alike Any way. And why does Jota Silva remind people of Jack Grealish? As he played on many occasions for his Country? No . As he Won a Sack Full of Trophies? No . Did he cost a British Transfer Fee of over Β£100 Million? No. But Most Important Question Of All. Has He Ever Appeared in the Famous Black & White Shirt of the World's Oldest Professional League Club? No. So Why Does this Portuguese Player look like Jack Grealish? He wears his Hair in the same way as Jack. That's Right that's the only thing he has in common with Jack is he wears a Head Band pushed back in his Hair. And the Journalistic Genius that came up with this comparison, gets paid Vast Amounts of Money, while ordinary People have to Get Up at the Crack of Dawn work a Job that they more than likely Don't like, to earn Money just to put Food on the Table Pay their Bills and cloth their Kids, Makes Me Sick.

So What's Wrong With Notts?
@Robbie I Don't think it's the Physicality that's the Problem Just the Gaping holes in the Notts Defence that's left by Playing the Current System, plus the Fact it Seems that Notts Defenders are to sacred to tackle opposition Strikers they prefer to either back off or run along side them. Plus the Fact again the Magpies have No Leader on the Pitch. A Leader doesn't need to be the Club Captain, just a Player who can Grab a Match by the Scruff of the Neck and Make Things Happen.
-
So What's Wrong With Notts?
The Question is will Notts be Mean in Defence looking at the past few Results then the answer is NO. It's all Very Well playing Pretty Football ,but it's No Good looking Attractive going Forward if the Magpies are Going to Get Thumped on a Regular Basis. Notts need to Learn to Win Ugly . Notts play with Style. Well Playing with "Style" hasn't done a Lot of Good Recently, Nor Did It Last Season, from around December Onwards. Going into the New Season I Think Stuart Maynard's Job is Very Much on the Line. The Players aren't Responding to his Coaching and Fans Are Rightly Concerned after the dismal Preseason that's just gone. The Performances haven't Installed Confidence in the Notts Fan Base. Perhaps the Notts Line Up at Tranmere should be 1 1 9. Jatta Up Front Jodi in Midfield while the Rest of the Team stand on the Notts Goal line. That way the Magpies may only Lose 1or 2 Nil. Instead of 3 or 4 Nil.

DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE 2 After a Hard Battle Wolverine turns to Deadpool and Says I'm Getting To Old For This. Yeah You're Even Older Than Notts County replies Deadpool.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
@Pies79 I understand your point Regarding another Striker. But Notts have already sent One Out On Loan, in Junior Morias. I think it was hoped that Cedwyn Scott would step up Now Macca's gone and form a Strike Partnership with Jatta, but that (as yet) just hasn't Happened.

So What's Wrong With Notts?
Well that's the Preseason out of the way and to say the Magpies have been Disappointing would be an understatement. Despite new Defenders being brought in to add Strength to the Back Line the same Old Mistakes are happening as they Did Last Season. Poor Results can't all be placed at the Players door . So What's Wrong With Notts? In My Opinion it's the Game Plan it's as plain as the Nose on your face that the Notts "Model" is all Wrong building up from the Back playing Tippy Tappy Football DOES NOT WORK. And as it's been suggested by other Concerned Fans on PON really by playing this type of Football will only Result in Notts being a Mediocre Midtable Team at Best or Relegation back to the National League in the Worse Case. The Excuses of well Notts haven't played at Home, the New Players need time to settle in, Stuart Maynard needs time to sort out his Starting XI all that won't Wash Anymore. What Excuses are going to be Given when Notts are Struggling? And are caught up in a Season Long Relegation Battle? Stuart Maynard needs to be Tough and tell any other People who try and Influence his decisions to Go Away This Squad Is His Team and He Will Not Tolerate any Interference from any other Quarters. But he won't because it's my Belief he's Not Strong Enough to Enforce his Personality at the Club. So where does that leave Notts Should Stuart Maynard Fail? The Appointment of a New Coach, A Yes Man who will Play the Notts Way, which has been deemed the correct way to play their Football. Luke Williams may have left the Lane but his influence still lingers, the Magpies still play his way because it was Successful in the National League and for a Time in League 2. But once it was worked out by other Teams in League 2 and how to play against it the whole thing just came Tumbling Down. A New Strategy needs to be adopted, it doesn't have to be Good to Look at as long as it Produces a Match Winning Team.

The Total Farce Of The Premier League
Yeah you're Probably Right Regarding the 115 outstanding Charges @Robbie My Beef is about the Fact the Premier League bringing in this Rule and the Total Size of the Fine Β£2.09 Million. I mean what do those in charge do? Write down a list of numbers, then Blindfold one member and stick a Pin in the Paper? For another Club Not has Rich as Man City could quite easily throw that Club into Chaos. And how Long before the EFL bring Something Similar for Clubs outside the Premiership?

How To Annoy Wrexham. Even More.
@Robbie The Topic was written with Tongue Firmly In Cheek. I just thought after the Success of the Deadpool and Wolverine Film, it would be Fun to add more Tension between Deadpool and Wolverine, if Hugh Jackman became a Notts Fan. And in any Follow Up Film the Magpies may Even Get A Mention.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
@Robbie Perhaps the one thing that can be taken as a Positive from the Second game was the Fact despite going 3-1 down, the Notts players still fought on and brought the game back to 3-3. before doing what Notts have got into the Habit of doing, Throwing the Game Away at the Death. I Think You're Right on this type of Form, I can only see Notts has a Midtable Side at Best.
-
Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
In the Second Game, same Old Notts. Fall Behind from a Headed Corner. Lose to Another Late Goal. Reading the up dates of the Match, It Appears McGoldrick had a Decent Game. Will he start Alongside Jatta instead of Scott next Saturday? Or will Maynard keep him on the Bench hoping to make an Impact should Notts need it against Tranmere?
-
Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
Looks a Decent Line Up. Now lets see if Notts can Get A Decent Result.
