Good afternoon/evening depending on when you’re reading this. My cold and sore throat has turned into full blown man flu so I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself. We are sitting with the grandkids at the moment while their mum and dad are out, they’ve gone to see Harry Hill, I hope they aren’t too late I need to go to bed. As @Robbie says this was always going to be a tall order and as it happened we could have won 6-0 and it wouldn’t have made any difference we still wouldn’t have gone up. We huffed and puffed a lot but in the end we were a poor second to Doncaster, the only player to come out of the game with any credit was George Abbott who had an excellent game. We move on to the playoffs although I’m not keen on the kick off time of 8pm on Saturday, I think we can beat Wimbledon over two legs but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Chesterfield win the last promotion place.

I’ve voted for George Abbott he was the best player by a country mile, he was all over the pitch, he’ll be a great premiership player one day.

Really pleased for Derby and @super_ram of course, he won’t be on here for a while he’ll be celebrating with a few bevvies. 🍺

I forgot to say I’ll also be keeping an eye on the Derby result and hoping they win just so that our old mate @super_ram doesn’t get all grumpy. COME ON YOU RAMS!

I think it was a match where we put the ball out for a throw in because a Bristol Rovers was injured but they didn’t give us the ball back and scored after taking the throw in or something along those lines.
