Good morning, it’s a lovely bright start here and forecast to be a dry sunny day so Mrs. T will have a line full of washing out. Our young neighbours in the last house we lived in had a tumble dryer in their garage and it always amused us when on a lovely breezy sunny day we would hear their tumble dryer going in the garage, I don’t think they even had a washing line. 🙄 In other news we’ve bought one of those Ring Doorbells with a camera, which we are going to install today, I’ve been playing with it a bit and I’m very impressed so far, it’ll be good to see whose at the door and talk to them through the camera, especially salesmen and religious people. It’ll also pick up any would be trespassers who are up to no good and record footage for evidence.

I haven’t got a problem with possession based football per se but I would like all the possession to have an end product, too many times we see lots of possession but not getting any balls into the box to cause problems, I would like to see them play with a little more tempo and hurt teams quickly.

I think they should interview some of the people on Twitter and Facebook, there’s lots of great coaches on there.

He’s one of a few ex Notts players I keep an eye on, I’m pleased he’s been offered a new contract.

I must say I was a bit surprised at the decision to sack Maynard because I think the brothers are not prone to knee jerk decisions and I don’t think they will have been swayed by talk on social media. With the decision now made I suspect they already have a coach in mind I think we may see an appointment quickly, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Williams return. Time will tell.

Morning all and Happy Wednesday, it’s certainly a lot happier for me, I’ve had a good nights sleep and feeling a lot better after having my tooth out yesterday, I’ve lost 4lb as well, I don’t think the tooth weighed that much so it must be the fact that I’ve only had a small portion of scrambled egg since Monday, I’m looking forward to porridge for breakfast. We had a little rain by the looks of it last night so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s filled up my water butt. Have a great day everyone.

@Robbie I’m not at all surprised that the owners are going to stick with Maynard, they don’t do knee jerk reaction or listen to keyboard warriors on social media, Maynard said in a recent interview that new coaching staff would be added during the close season and that the reason they didn’t during this season was because they didn’t want to disrupt things, so they stuck with the people the players know.

Well the tooth had to come out, it was infected, the extraction was quite painful in spite of having two injections to freeze it. I’m just glad the toothache has gone, hopefully I’ll get a better nights sleep.
