So much for ending his career with Notts. I guess money talks and he’s had a better offer, time will tell whether the club have made a mistake or not. At his age he wouldn’t be playing a lot and if we’ve freed up a substantial wage bill with shrewd business in the market we could get a couple of decent, hungry players. Only teasing @Robbie I’ve been doing it a while now, you get to know how they think. Having said all this I’ll probably need hints tomorrow. I really enjoy doing it, it’s my favourite word game.

I was listening to Paul on the Magpie Circle podcast with Mark Stallard and he says McCauley Langstaff has been transfer listed. I wonder if Millwall are still paying instalments, could we buy him back? I guess his wages might be a stumbling block. However if Didzy doesn’t re-sign I guess that would free up some funds. If it were possible I’d take him back without doubt. Thoughts?
