Well we have a new management team and a new structure within the club if we get promoted this year it will be massive coup for the owners and DoF, it’s a gamble which could work or fail spectacularly. Perhaps Paterson was the first choice of the ones that didn’t turn down the job. They could have outlined the structure to all the candidates and asked them what they thought and out of the ones that agreed Paterson was the first choice so in that case Chris wasn’t being dishonest.

Well as I said he isn’t going to say any other is he? If he said they couldn’t get the first choice then MP ‘s position is undermined from the start. It’s a good diplomatic answer.

That’s exactly my thought too, that’s why I wonder if MP was first choice. However it is what it is I hope the whole new set up is a resounding success and I trust the brothers are doing everything they can to make our club successful.

Very impressive interview, I thought the owner dealt with some tough questions very well and top marks to the interviewer for asking the right questions. I still don’t believe that MP was the first choice, he isn’t going to answer that question by saying no he was our second or third choice. I think a lot of potential manager/coaches wouldn’t tough it with a barge pole due to the committee system. It’s a radical move for a league two club and I really hope it works, time will tell, either way I’ll be there supporting the club as I’m sure most fans will.

Morning all, the problems with my iPad still persist in spite of spending g a lot of time yesterday clicking on the forum while Chris tried disabling different things to try and find out what is causing the problem. He goes to so much trouble trying to fix it I feel guilty that I highlighted the problem. Yesterday we had a right mangy looking fox come in our garden during the day, he had a drink from the pond and then headed off, he didn’t look very well at all. We’ve caught them on camera during the night and very early morning but never at 2pm in the day.
