@super_ram it can’t be nice having constant noise and hassle, I hope the new tenants on the 8th are nice quiet folk We are awake early this morning because we are off to York for a weeks holiday, we are renting a house for a week just outside the city and a gentle 30 minutes walk to the city walls or a 10 minute bus ride if we feel idle. We can’t get in until 4pm so we’ve booked tickets for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which is just outside Leeds around half way, so we’ll have a walk round there at lunch time then carry on to our accommodation. I hope everyone has a good day.

I was a fan of Marianne Faithful in fact I was secretly in love with her, she was beautiful, don’t tell Mrs. T. I’m so sorry to hear she’s passed away, may she rest in peace. @super_ram your neighbours sound delightful. 😒 I feel so lucky to have neighbours each side who are really nice, they are about the same age as us and we know that if we needed help they’d be there for us as we would for them. When you move into a house you never know who you’ll get next door so it’s a bit of a lottery.

It’s great to see these articles return. Maynard is very honest with his assessment, it wasn’t a great game but at the end of the day it’s points that matter.

Good afternoon, it’s quite bright here but there are a few fair weather clouds. We’ve been a little walk this morning and it’s quite cold out of the sun so we’ll wrap up for this afternoons walk to the cemetery, we’ve got some flowers for our son’s grave, it’s coming up to the anniversary of his death 13 years ago but we’ll be away on the actual day so we’re taking flowers now. On a brighter note my neck is gradually getting better so I don’t need so many pain killers. Enjoy what’s left of the day folks.

Morning all, it’s fairly bright this morning and the temperature isn’t too bad at 4.5 degrees. I’m still suffering from a stiff painful neck so I’m dosing myself with paracetamol and putting deep heat on it to try and get rid of it. I want to get right for Friday, we are driving to York for a weeks holiday, at the moment driving is painful twisting my neck to look right or left. Great result last night, I watched on Sky+ where the commentator kept saying Meadow Park instead of Lane and at one point we were playing Cardiff, I don’t know where they get these people from, the last match the commentator referred to us as Nottingham Forest. I wish I could sync the radio commentary with the pictures, I’d much rather listen to Bracegirdle and Stallard.

Indeed, it wasn’t our best game but as you say @Robbie there are positives to take from the game, the players battled their way to three points and a clean sheet, we now sit second in the league, let’s put it down to a bad day at the office and move on, we can and will play better. I’d rather play poorly and win than have a great game and lose or draw. Points are all that matter at this stage of the season.

Not the greatest performance by Notts but we’ll take the 3 points thank you very much, now let’s cement our place in the top three.

Notts need to step it up in the second half, while it’s only 1-0 there’s a chance that Carlisle will get a goal. We really need to win this. COME ON YOU PIES!

This is a potential banana skin, we need to guard against complacency. I hope Notts put a clause in when selling Scott that he doesn’t play against us, if he plays he’s bound to score ex players always score against us and he’ll be busting a gut to score. Whatever happens I hope he doesn’t get booed. I’m going for a 3-1 Notts win 🤞
