Good morning and welcome to a new week. The clouds seem to be deciding whether to let the sun out to play this morning, there are glimpses of sun then it disappears. I’ll do a bit of gardening this morning my tomato plants are coming along nicely I planted seeds and although a little late they are doing fine, I thinned them out a bit yesterday. I've been disappointed with Traore I think we paid a fee for him didn't we? Maybe after a pre season he will come good but he certainly hasn't hit the ground running like Jatta did.

Good morning happy Sunday, the sun is trying to peek through the clouds, how are we all this morning, feeling sad, resigned, philosphical? I’m sure we’ll get over it, no one died. Well I wasn't expecting us to win so I'm not too disappointed after 60 odd years of supporting Notts you get used to disappointments, we desperately missed our two star players and sadly the team that Maynard put out didn't step up to the challenge. I'll be there next season and hoping once again that it will be our season.

It was either Jodie Jones or Bass for me but I'm going for Alex Bass who made some great saves.

Good morning, it’s matchday. A cloudy start here so far. I’ll be watching the match with Mrs. T and Chloe, hoping for a miracle, then I might watch the cup final and then Eurovision which is less of a contest for good songs and more of a spectacle of bizarre costumes but good for a laugh. Wow, what a fine dining meal we had at The Peacock Hotel at Rowsley in Derbyshire, if your wallet will run to it I can recommend this place, our son paid because it was our Christmas present, he wouldn’t say how much it was but we roughly totted it up and he wouldn’t have got much change out of £500 for a 3 course meal with drinks for 4 people, it was fabulous. I need a kip now.

Obviously being an old fart my first record was bought many years ago before a lot of you were born. I bought this album second hand from a record stall in Victoria Market, it’s simply called The Rolling Stones and was their debut album in 1964. It started a long love affair between me and the Stones which continues to this day.
