Good morning it’s a cold start to Sunday. I hope everyone has recovered from the thrilling local derby yesterday, we watched on the telly even grandson Fred was engaged at one point and actually put his phone down. We’ve been sorting out our loft and found some documentation that suggests where Mrs. T’s great grandparents are buried, so we are going to have a look round the graveyard to see if we can find their grave this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great day.

It was a good game with both sides battling hard to come out on top, a typical blood and thunder Derby in front of a good sized crowd. A draw was a fair result but Notts will be the happier especially as we snatched a draw late into the game. onwards and upwards, we’ll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season I’m convinced of that.

If that match had been on the prediction league I’d have predicted 2-2 and used my joker. Overall a fair result we certainly didn’t deserve to lose. I thought Notts played well in parts Gordon was my man of the match he put some excellent crosses in, it’s a shame he got a knock and got withdrawn. I agree with @gtownjohnno the ref was biased towards the home side.

I’ve voted for Gordon he had the beating of Mandeville (who I rate very highly) and put some great crosses into the box.

Here’s a tale for you 10 years ago we went to Dubrovnik and saw a chap dressed in Croatian costume selling lucky charms for 1€, a young looking Mrs. T. Bought one off him and had her photo taken. Fast forward 10 years and we visited Dubrovnik again where we met the same chap still selling his lucky charms, we showed him the picture of himself with Mrs. T and he was delighted “my old friends” he said in broken English. We took another picture of him with a not so young looking Mrs. T. The lucky charm had doubled in price to 2€

Good morning, did anyone see the Aurora last night there were some spectacular views, we took this photo on our back garden. Our son who’s a bit of a photographer took this just up the road from his house.

I agree @Robbie it’s great to see home grown players playing a part in games on the downside it’s pretty certain if they do well we won’t have them for long because they’ll be poached.
