I recorded and watched the USA v Belgium game this morning when I woke up, I was really pleased that Belgium won, I feel they were fired up by the off field shenanigans of a certain person who I won’t name. Justice is done but FIFA don’t come out of this looking very good at all. The whole thing stinks.

I hope @super_ram is feeling a little better now. @theAnticlough have a great time, if you haven’t already gone can you tell us where you are going so I can be jealous. 🤣

I watched it this morning having managed to avoid seeing the score, I’m glad I didn’t stay up after it was delayed by an hour. I thought England did amazingly well in the altitude and oppressive heat, against a good Mexico side playing at home with a huge partisan crowd behind them, then going down to 10 men, everything seemed to be going against them but they came through against all odds to secure a historic victory. Everyone played there part in the win, well done to all concerned.

It’s funny you should say that @Michael D Pie. my leg muscles are really aching this morning, probably because I haven’t been for a while. We’ve had Chloe for the weekend and this afternoon the whole family came for a bbq which was nice. They’ve just gone so time to relax. I think we might watch the match early tomorrow and avoid the score by not putting on our phones etc. I don’t think I’ll stay awake in the early hours to be able to enjoy it.
