Good morning it’s a dry start here for a change, hopefully it will stay dry as we want to have a look around Scarborough, maybe some fish and chips for lunch. Last night around dusk we were lucky enough to spot a barn owl hunting in the fields we overlook, an awesome sight, it got quite close to the cottage so we had a great view. It rained very heavy during the night and early this morning here in Flamborough but by mid morning it had stopped and the skies cleared. We’ve been a walk around Bridlington, we parked on the front and the walked along the promenade to the harbour, obviously most things are shut and consequently it’s very quiet, on the way back to our cottage we stopped off at Tesco and got some lamb shanks for dinner tonight. Yum.

Morning all, we battled our way through the Yorkshire snow and arrived safely, we stopped off at Beverley for some lunch then carried on to our cottage which is in Flamborough near Bridlington. You can tell there has been heavy snow but the roads weren’t too bad at all. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with views over farmland towards the sea, we are looking forward to a nice relaxing week. I hope Notts win the match today if you’re going give them a cheer for me. YOUPIES!
