Iβm looking forward to catching up with everyoneβs posts, this place seems to have got busier while I was away, perhaps it was because I was away. I hope you donβt all disappear now Iβm back. π

And the sun was out, itβs a lovely place I hope to visit again in the future. We are at sea on our way home off the coast of Torquay as I write this, weβll be alongside Southampton at 6.00 am tomorrow. Then itβs a coach drive back to Nottingham.

Good morning from Cobh in Southern Ireland, this is our last port of call before heading back to Southampton to arrive on Friday. Itβs been a great two weeks sailing around Britain on this lovely cruise ship, although we havenβt had the hot weather youβve been getting. Belfast was very wet, Liverpool was cloudy, ironically the Scottish highlands had some nice weather though. Hereβs a pic from our balcony of Cobh (pronounced Cove).

π Ha ha, I see what you did there @Piethagoram It certainly is a beautiful building and the whole story once inside is quite emotive but very well put together respectfully.

Good morning from sunny Liverpool, yes the sun has found us at last after a very rainy day in Belfast yesterday, at least we got to visit the Titanic Museum and had a tour of the city. We crossed the Irish Sea during the night, now we have two days in Liverpool, looking forward to seeing the sights.

Morning all, weβve just arrived in a rather misty, murky Belfast, today we are going on an excursion around Belfast and then to the Titanic Museum which is supposed to be very good, Mrs. T is under strict instructions not to fall down the coach steps this time. Her ankle is still improving she walked with her stick to the dining room which is at the other end of the ship. If she struggles at the museum weβll borrow a wheelchair. Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, we have two days at sea cruising around the Scottish Isles before heading to Belfast where we have booked an excursion to the Titanic Museum which is supposed to be really good. Watched a great show onboard last night a group called The Shamrock Tenors, singing Irish songs really good entertainment. Also just before we set sail a Scottish group came onboard to entertain us. Here they are singing in the Atrium.

Good afternoon, thanks to those who sent good wishes to Mrs. T sheβs doing ok, I managed to get off the ship in Kirkwall and went into town to get her a walking stick and a compression bandage. The swelling is going down but itβs still badly bruised sheβs finding it a bit easier to put weight on but still using a wheelchair to get around the ship. Today we are in Stornoway itβs very dull drizzly and cool, I might catch the shuttle bus to explore while Mrs T relaxes. I keep checking to see if weβve got a new manager but not seen anything unless Iβve missed it.

Thanks @Piethagoram sadly we wonβt be going ashore any time soon. We went on an excursion yesterday and as she was getting off the coach Mrs. T fell awkwardly and twisted her ankle, it is very swollen and she canβt put any weight on it, the crew were very good and we managed to get her back onboard, they given us a wheel chair to use on the ship but we arenβt allowed to take it ashore, so we are ship bound for a while until it gets easier to walk. Hopefully itβs not broke but weβll keep an eye on it.

Good morning all from Invergorden in Bonny Scotland. The weather is overcast but dry and a bit cool. Weβve just docked here for our first port of call after two days at sea, although we did briefly have to stop in **** to disembark a passenger who was very ill and needed hospital treatment I hope they recover. We are having a great time with some lovely food, today we are off on an excursion which involves a trip on the Caledonian canal, I hope it stays dry. Cheers for now, Edit: the forum software doesnβt like the word N i g g, itβs a place in Scotland on the Moray Firth, also forgot to say we saw dolphins as we entered the firth, they gave us a great display really close to the ship.

Morning all, itβs a drizzly start here, we are up super early because we are off on holiday, a taxi is coming at 8.30 to take us to Trowell services where weβll board the coach to Southampton where the cruise ship Britannia is waiting to take us on a two week cruise around the British Isles. Itβs Britanniaβs 10th anniversary and sheβll be stopping at Invergorden in Scotland, Kirkwall in Orkney, Stornaway in the Hebrides, Liverpool, Belfast and Cobh in Southern Ireland. Hopefully Iβll be popping in here when I can to see if weβve got a new manager and players.

We used to put hanging baskets up and fill them ourselves rather than buy the basket ready made, however we found that because we are away a lot on holiday it was difficult to keep them watered. Weβve been watching spring watch recently on tv and we were interested in the feature about wild gardens in Leeds which attract a whole range of wildlife, this suits us fine I would describe our garden as a wild one rather than a perfectly planted pretty garden. I like plants that attract bees, butterflies, birds, hedgehogs, foxes etc. all of which visit our garden, it may not look the prettiest but Iβm happy with it and so is the wildlife.
