Direct replacement for Jodi, I hope he does as well as Jodi did for us.

He has plenty of League One experience & his signature gives Martin Paterson plenty of options. I think that he will be much better defensively than Jodi Jones. Jodi is Jodi but I think that Longelo will be the kind of player that fits into Martin's way of playing.

i seem to recall @Piethagoram mentioning him, and as others have said he was their best player at wembley. i just hope he can improve with us and help us get the points needed to move forward. we need to give him time before comparing to his time at salford, we have a much stronger squad.

A good player on his day, but I have to admit he's always looked quite average in Salford's team. I do remember him at Accrington Stanley and Swindon Town; I think he did some promising things for Stanley but struggled with consistency at Swindon. He signed among them a wave of talent; I don't think he's quite reached his potential, and for that reason I can see why the club has monitored him.

I wonder if @medievalmickey remembers him? The club's recruitment generally does well, and I can't hold past judgment on him. I don't feel as excited about the signing as others do.

I am sure he will give his all; I just hope he can surprise me and prove to be one of those rough gems we polish.

I like this signing. I haven't seen that much of him but you could see his potential at Wembley despite him having a quiet game. He looks like a Martin Paterson type player. Strong. Clever. Committed team player. A skillful solid performer. I'm hoping he's another Nick Tsaroulla type player. He started as a forward apparently and was no stranger to the scoresheet when at Accrington Stanley. He also has plenty of League One experience. Thumbs up from me.

I am prepared to see how he does in a team that is built to succeed together, rather than individual stars aimed at pushing a team like Salford City closer to their highest position in the EFL. He looked a real handful, so I just hope he can help keep us in League One and, in time, push us further.
