  3. I think Steve Coopers name will crop up for every managerial vacancy in the championship or lower prem until he gets a job.
  4. It’s hard to pick a MoM when you’ve listened and not seen, I watched on the Sky+ as I find night matches too cold, in fact some day matches have been too cold just lately.
  5. Could be worse @Robbie we could be Mansfailed they lost again last night 0-3 at Field Mill, that’s 9 games without a win including 8 losses. Clough goes from hero to zero and fans call for his head.
  6. Sorry to see only 5 people voted.
  7. I thought I’d posted it, it’s probably in the Jimmy Sirrel section or somewhere daft. Wordle 1,341 4/6

  10. Good morning, it’s cold again at 1.8 degrees according to my weather gadget but it dropped down to 0.9 overnight. We have coffee in bed until the heating comes on at 8am so it’s time to get up now and have a nice bowl of porridge. I hope everyone is well, have a good day if you can.
  11. I agree with the sponsors man of the match and that was Kellan Gordon I thought he played really well and was our most dangerous player, his cross for the goal was excellent.
  12. One thing I noticed which ought to be worked on is corners, I counted at least 3 corners from Palmer that failed to beat the first defender at the near post, a corner is an ideal opportunity to get a cross into the box and when the likes of Jatta is in there there’s a good chance he’ll get his head on it. So come on Matt Palmer do some work on them corners please.
  13. Disappointing result, Notts didn’t play to their full potential by any stretch of the imagination, in fact it could have been worse we could have lost that one. It’s a shame because we got off to a flying start with the early goal and I was expecting them to build on it and push on to get more goals, unfortunately it didn’t happen. We are definitely missing our key players Jones, McGoldrick and Bedau. On to Tranmere and hopefully bounce back.
  14. A difficult day for you all @super_ram stay strong me old mate Heres a big manly hug from me.
  15. Got ya, I’m a bit thick today.
  16. @RobbieThat’s good news that’s good news that everyone survived, I hope the critically ill recover. It amazes me though why someone who’s just survived a plane crash wants to film their escape from a plane that could possibly catch fire at any minute. The first thing they think of is how many likes they can get on Facebook or tick-tock or whatever. Toronto: Passenger films his escape from upside down crashed plane WWW.BBC.CO.UK Video shows people clamber over belongings and seats from inside the plane that crashed on the Canadian runway.

  19. Morning all a cold zero degrees here but the sun is up so hopefully it will get warmer later. We are meeting up with fellow volunteers this morning for a coffee, we are mentoring them so they can host our next support meeting when we are away. Later as it’s matchday I’ll be watching Notts and hoping for a positive result against Colchester.
  20. The local TV Channel Notts TV is closing down after its licence will not be renewed. I love watching the local football programme called Match Talk which featured Charlie McParland and had guest speakers talking about our three clubs, our very own @Chris was a guest once too.
  21. Today it is two years since we very sadly lost @GrannyPie who this section of the forum is named after. For those that don’t know Granny Pie was the wife of @super_ram and the mother of @Chris our thoughts are with them and the rest of the family today. Granny Pie was a lovely lady who I had the pleasure of meeting once, she was a stalwart of the forum and a voice of reason and she would also be quick to jokingly threaten anyone who fell out of line with her walking stick. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to give friendly advice to younger members. Bless you @GrannyPie may you rest in peace.
