@Chris if your help isn’t appreciated I would ditch them and concentrate where you ARE appreciated …… here. I hope you managed a walk with @super_ram its not been too hot and there’s been a nice breeze. We’ve been concentrating on unpacking, doing a bit of shopping and getting the washing done, the lawn will have to wait until tomorrow as our son and DIL came round for a chat so we dropped everything as we haven’t seen them for three weeks, although we have been sending them blogs of our travels.

Good morning it sounds like you’ve been gadding about a bit lately like me @Piethagoram Last night was very sticky after being used to sleeping in a nice air conditioned cabin. I woke to go to the toilet in the night and was completely disorientated I thought I was still on the ship. We’ve got lots to do today, we haven’t unpacked our two huge cases yet, it was too hot to bother when we got home. Then there’ll be two lines of washing to put out. That’s strange I thought I’d started this topic, the heat must be getting to me. Thanks @Piethagoram we are back home now after our 21 day cruise and I wish I was back on the air conditioned ship. Phew what a scorcher. We’ve fetched Tilly cat from the cattery and the silly girl has been tearing round the garden like a mad thing, now she’s panting like mad, you don’t often see cats pant. We are trying to get her to settle down she’s a long haired cat so has a huge fur coat on so running about is not good. I guess it’s because she’s been cooped up for three weeks.

Good morning we’ve just arrived in Southampton after a fabulous 21 day cruise, we stopped at Cartegena in Spain, Cagliari in Sardinia, Corfu in Greece, Zadar in Croatia, Split in Croatia, Valletta in Malta, Palma in Mallorca and Cadiz in Spain. It’s been very hot in the ports but lovely and cool on the air conditioned ship. We’ve got a coach trip home now to a red hot house, it’s 26 degrees inside according to my hive app.

Wow! Who’d have thought two or three years ago we’d be playing Leicester in a league game at Meadow Lane, it shows how far we’ve come and how far they’ve dropped. I can’t wait for this game it’ll be awesome.

Good morning we’ve just arrived in our last port of call Cadiz, Spain, it’s overcast and temperatures are set to reach “only” 28 degrees so a bit better than Palma, Mallorca which was 28 degrees. We’ve been to Cadiz many times it’s a beautiful city, we plan to do our favourite walk, along the coast and then back through the beautiful gardens and then take in some of the city streets with narrow streets and interesting shops. Here’s a few pics from a very hot Palma.

Good afternoon, it’s a sea day for us as we make our way to Mallorca, I’ve been walking round the decks with my Notts shirt on and it’s amazing how many people mention it. No Notts fans yet but two different Forest fans who were really pleased we’d been promoted, a Derby fan who said he always looked out for our results, a Mansfield fan who was looking forward to renewing our local derbies and a Chesterfield fan. Who never mentioned Dobra’s boot at all. 🤣 The captain says tomorrow will be 35 degrees in Palma so we plan to skip breakfast and go out as soon as the ship docks and have a toddle round until we can’t stand the heat anymore. As you can imagine there are lots of elderly passengers on the ship and many are opting to stay onboard rather than face the heat.

@Michael D Pie. we did indeed use the lift it was only 1€ each for a return trip, it was far too hot to walk up the road to the battlements. The view from the top was spectacular. At sea tomorrow, then Mallorca which is going to be even hotter. 🥵

Morning all we’ve just sailed into Malta, it’s going to be another scorching hot day so we’re going exploring early before it gets too hot. I’ll look out for Jodie. 🤣
