  1. Thanks for the article @samwatto2008 I think Nolan was sacked too soon, I honestly believe he could have turned it round with a couple or three loan signings but now we will never know so we have to move forward and support the new man whoever it is.
  2. Another 3 goals conceded so far and by the sounds of it Lincoln could get more yet.
  3. Tootle injured now Bird on, it’s not looking good.
  4. Losing 2-1 sounds like another mistake by Fitzsimmons.
  5. 1-1 Kellet COYP Oh dear Duffy injured
  6. Everyone is expecting a thrashing, the Lincoln team and manager will be expecting to beat us easily, wouldn't it be just like to Notts to go and get a win against all odds. Then again...................
  7. I can sort of understand fans getting upset over the loss and performance but I’ve seen lots of games and performances of a similar ilk and to be honest although I was disappointed I wouldn’t let it unduly upset me, it’s football, there are much worse things in life to get upset about. Good article @Chris I love the picture with you, @super_pie and @super_ram
  8. Sorry I can’t bear to watch that again. The first 15-20 minutes I thought we looked amazing but after the disallowed goal it went seriously down hill.
  9. That was awful, the first 10-15 minutes Notts were looking good going forward although they did have a scare very early on. However once Yeovil found they were in acres of space going forward they just kept running at us, our midfield were awful the defence were terribly exposed. I don’t think anyone came out of that game with any credit. Nolan has a huge job to sort that lot out. I thought the fans were excellent, there were a few boos but by and large at the end there were a lot of positive shouts telling the players to keep their heads up etc. At least that’s how it seemed where I was. Lets hope it was a bad day at the office but 10 goals shipped in three games tells its own story.
  10. I’m hoping things start to click into place I won’t make a prediction because that would be the kiss of death but fingers crossed eh?
  11. Thanks @Natty for your (as always) excellent report, I've enjoyed reading them on the list for many years and it's great to see them on here too.
  12. @NottsTastic @DeadlyDennis Please reconsider, this forum is not usually prone to these sort of spats and as I said in my post @Northants Pie is certainly not like this normally perhaps he’s having a bad time who knows. As you saw @Magic magpie was straight on the case and several members came to your defence, things like this will be jumped on immediately we want this to remain a friendly forum, I really hope you reconsider as your presence has been a breath of fresh air.
  13. Not sure what’s going off here has someone hacked @Northants Pie‘s account? This seems out of character he’s not normally one to speak out of turn like this. I do agree it was a bit out of order. Perhaps an apology would smooth things over.
  14. Penalties. Whatever happens now Notts have done really well.
  15. This is a good performance, come on Notts.
  16. It’s odds on that Dennis and Hemings were going to start Friday but now Stead has given Nolan something to think about.
  17. This is a chance to give other players a game to see what they can do, anyone remember the cup run we had when Steve Thompson was manager? He fielded a completely different team for the cup and we went on a great run, let’s hope we can do the same. If we lose, which we probably will, I won’t be reading twitter or Facebook, it’ll just depress me.
  18. Is it too late for Kev himself to dust off his boots? What better experienced midfielder?
  19. Not sure it’s official that he’s leaving, has it been in the official website yet, if not I hope it’s just paper talk. If he is then I wish him well except when playing against us of course, he has to put himself and his family first.
  20. Hope you stick around @The Heff I find this place much friendlier than Notts County Facebook groups.
  21. The signings have certainly lifted the gloom and doom after the play off’s disappointment well done to everyone at Meadow Lane for their hard work and ambition. I really hope we can go one better this coming season and secure automatic promotion, if anyone deserves it Hardy and his team do.
