A good January window is vital if we are to achieve promotion, we need 2 or 3 quality players who can help the team get us over the line. Surely we have some money in the coffers from the sale of Langstaff, Crowley etc. to fund the purchase of good players. The last thing we want now is for the team to falter and drop down the table necessitating another change of coach. I’m hoping to hear news of some signings soon but I don’t want to hear that Jatta and Dennis are sold. 🙏

Good morning, it’s a very cold -3.8 outside and only 15 degrees inside as the heating hasn’t kicked in yet. We’ve had another small amount of snow. Thankfully being retired I’m still under the duvet, I feel for those folk who have to go to work, school or college. Keep warm if you can. We had a walk yesterday on the very icy pavements but we were wearing ice grippers on our shoes which proved a godsend. I can highly recommend them.

I can see your point about losing money @Robbie the match will likely be played on a Tuesday night now so less revenue, however I do think it will help the players rest before the next match, I agree with @menzinho there are too many games in a short space of time.

Just got back home, after having no snow for the whole week it decided to chuck it down as we packed the cars to come home, so we had todo it in blizzard conditions. By the time we’d packed the cars and were ready to go it had settled quite a lot. Thankfully the main roads were clear.

I notice that there will be a pitch inspection before the game, to be honest I don’t think it would be a bad thing if it was called off, I thought the players looked jaded in their last match there’s a lot of football to play this time of year. A postponement would give them time to recharge their batteries.

Good morning it’s a bright sunny day here in Norfolk but cold. I had a disturbed night when my car alarm went off for no apparent reason, I had to go out in my pyjamas to check everything was ok, I couldn’t find anything wrong, I think it was protesting about being left out in the cold it’s normally in our garage at night. Today we are hoping to go to Wells Next to Sea if the teenage grandchildren get out of bed in time. It’s our last day tomorrow we’ll be heading home.

We are away at present but I managed to watch most the game on the laptop in between wifi outages, from what I saw I’m giving my vote to Dennis who was unlucky not to score.
