I enjoyed the game but obviously disappointed we let in a late equaliser. I thought there was plenty of endeavour and passion and I do believe performances are improving we need to be patient, if we can get another couple of players and get the injuries back we might have a decent season. Fingers crossed.

I think it’s only a minority of “fans” who would question the clubs ownership, personally I think it’s great that they are putting all the infrastructure in place, the Nest and Padle courts generate income which helps us to become more self financing. Of course there is a fine balance between spending on players and infrastructure but once all the infrastructure is in place we will hopefully be future proofed and the shift will go more towards the playing staff. I’m happy with the owners compared to what we’ve had in the recent past. Let’s not talk our club down the glass is half full.

After the match on Saturday I was walking back to my car which was parked on the embankment I crossed over the canal going towards London Road and glanced to my left where there was a barge moored and a naked man on it, thankfully he was retreating back inside the barge so only saw his bum. The bare cheek of some people.

Good morning it’s bank holiday Monday and the weather is supposed to be hot today. I’m going to the opticians for a check up, I’ve opted for the £10 extra eye exam too. It was a good game I thought Notts were by far the better side in the first half but the second half we eased off and sat back more, I do agree the subs changed the game. MP said in the after match interview that Bromley brought on tall players all over six foot but we didn’t have a bench to counter that. Overall I think we can see progression but we do need some more bodies. Dennis scored two great goals one was an assist by Roos by the way but he can’t carry the mantle indefinitely, we either get Jatta back or get someone new up front. I’m not too despondent I saw plenty of endeavour on the part of the players, hopefully we’ll get there.

Yes two goals from Dennis gets my vote.

Thanks @Robbie i think that Nuno is a very good manager but the owner is a bit of a meddler, I didn’t think for one minute that when he stormed onto the pitch last season to remonstrate with Nuno that it was about the injury I think it was about the result which he was unhappy with. I don’t think the manager will stay after this latest upset and if I was a Forest fan (which I’m not) I’d be dismayed. It’ll be interesting to see how it unfolds.

@Wheelbarrow repair man i really don’t want to keep going back and forth over this. I felt that both you and Robbie have unfairly criticised me for posted about Nottingham Forest. However I am now pleased to see that @Robbie has now put forward his views on my post (which I welcome) having first said he wasn’t interested in posts about Nottingham Forest. So @Wheelbarrow repair man what are your views on the saga across the Trent this after all is what the topic is about.

With all due respect @Wheelbarrow repair man if you look at this section that I put this post into you will see that it is called English Football there are topics about different English clubs Morecambe for instance, this forum is primarily about Notts County but we talk about all things football. You are out of order, I have every right to post about Forest, I don’t support them but I thought the news was relevant. You often post things that are not related to Notts or football at all, this forum is very diverse we can talk about most things as long as it’s in the correct section.

That’s the trouble sometimes you can read it another way and get sidetracked and go down completely the wrong road. I do that with connections.
