  1. i am looking forward to the game, portsmouth bring good numbers and its one of the fewer l2 games where it feels notts are bigger than this division. i think it would not be productive to see notts defend or park the bus, tho we should probably be setup so we can defend and attack. so balanced for me, if we aim to attack and get caught out. i think they will show us up.
  2. kn needs an extension and a hefty release clause, if a club wants nolan they need to pay for him. life is good at the moment under him and i would like it continue for a few years, so discouraging other clubs would help us to retain him.
  3. looking forward to seeing the highlights and what can only be described as a howler from him above in goal. we got the points as a team tho!
  4. alan hardy presents a nicer vibe around the club, its not all sunshine and smiles or trying to form arguments where they are none. perhaps ah has the right focus?
  5. he frustrated me also. i thought he played better in the second half but he was not worth the shirt overall. poor performance and fans who are defending him should recall a few months back when few gave effort. we cant accept it, its not on!
  6. i thought he looked very tired after the 70th minute passed but when hes playing like that i would not sub him.
  7. brill game, notts played very well and it was the first game in awhile where i felt we controlled the game without looking all the shaky at the back.
  8. people wont get you confused with @Joe Jones now, so its a positive mate. sure people will understand.
  9. after beating wycombe 1-0 we probably struggle to score, so it will probably be a draw.
  10. i sympathise but would rather read about my own club. not sure what the post are clutching onto my asking questions which would lead to these answers.
  11. i think they was one of the better visitors to meadow lane so i do think this will be easy. just need to approach the game in the right way, build from the back and go forward. would also like to see stead upfront, i do not think ameobi is good enough alone and forte just seems a statue these days.
  12. thats good to see. people forget that the trews did invest in some players at a point, when they stopped you could probs argue that was when things was falling around behind the scenes and dummies was thrown out the pram. hardy and nolan need the right players, if on free or signed for a fee.
  13. i dont go to away games, only chesterfield to date and that was a few years back. only under fullarton did things become silly at times but these days at home i barely notice anything. away days, i cant say but people should just enjoy themselves with causing trouble.
  14. i think we should go for it on sunday, barnet dont worry me. if we play right i could see us winning 3-1 but we need stead and two strikers, create the chances and the goals will come. so i hope we see a second half performance for 90 minutes v barnet and that we can replicate how we controlled hartlepool.
  15. hes welcome but please can he cut the nonsense out on twitter? he does not have to work hard or misguide fans to bring us hope. that will come off the pitch.
  16. i hope jon can stay, he still has enough for this division but we should find a young striker who has potential to learn from him. i dont see why we do not back montel gibson more. i read a quote on facebook on a notts page about paul scholes not being considered good enough as a youngster.
  17. nolan needs to be wary of bringing the game into despite, we need him on the sidelines. not that i dont agree, i just think getting a touchline ban would be negative.
  18. not happy about the decision to disallow a perfectly good goal but not worried. we lost a game where notts played very well, so that gives me hope.
  19. im glad hes enjoying it, it takes a lot of hard work and despite one mistake imo. i think fans will come round. as i said in the forum i am going to purchase a ticket, mostly because i trust ah and i think he will spend it wisely. i hope more fans calm down and jump on board.
  20. before a few years ago this would not bother me as much, though i think its just plain stupid to suggest especially when you do not come from nottingham. nice read jj.
  21. i wonder what the confidence of fans in general will be? pre stevenage i think like most i would assume notts would win. it will probably be a boring draw with very limited chances for both teams. tho we seem to be playing better at home, i just hope we dont get sucker punched and end up losing two in a row. it would spark more negativity.
