  1. i dont get why hes been dropped. hes done nothing wrong and could play up top for us?
  2. the performance sums up what kn is wanting. yet we need better performances for confidence and to help during difficult spells, if we play like this it could easily flip to a defeat.
  3. brill result yesterday, its wins like this which will impact our final league position so i am delighted.
  4. i would play yates ahead of hewitt, but i would hope we change from the stead/ameobi up top. save one of them for when things are working in our favour or we need a bit more experience up top.
  5. i dont think its his confidence that is the problem, he just does not do much. he needs to find that passion for playing against because hes been very poor.
  6. this has the potential to become a bigger problem, it would be easier to give forte the nod when he deserves to start over stead (which he does now). i just dont think it makes sense to see him come on for the last 15 or whatever mins.
  7. i thought we played well but was unlucky with some of the chances that notts created. their keeper was good at saving, tho we could have scored more passed him if we had have been more direct. i am happy with the draw, its no real loss. we gained a point and something to learn.
  8. we need goalscorers, so why waste effort trying to get in a lad on loan who might not do a job when we have someone who can? bizarre.
  9. solid win for notts, it looked at a point that we might not get anything but the players stepped up when it mattered. brill win!
  10. we need to go to get 3 points but need to be cautious, think we could win 2-1 if we play right.
  11. why are so many teams releasing players already?
  12. it looks class, i bet the a way dressing room is worse now than it was.
  13. good article on the career of steve cherry!
  14. it might be worth using all three and adapting the play to replicate what spurs do. you know use wing backs...
  15. i would like to see grant start. i am not sure what formation or who else deserves to start but i think it would be harsh to anyone who played in the league cup to be dropped for someone who played badly against coventry. i just dont think it encourages good performances.
  16. 2-3, pooring rain... madness!
  17. it does sound like a good game, charlie slater is doing well but tends to ramble on a little bit. think grant and milsom sound like they are our most lively players.
  18. i think forte playing would be a good call, kn has said he will give him that chance but i dont understand why he has not already? we lack pace and he scored 10 goals last season right? bizarre.
  19. i dont get why we dont play him. hes a good striker and can play okay on the wing, but hes best upfront and since we have no pace at all there. would it not make sense to give him a chance?
  20. we lost the opening game because the players went missing and did not quite work out. its okay, just come back stronger and prove the moaners wrong.
