The past month really had stumped us, in fact I wasn't sure who to name originally. We have so many fantastic posters, who provide the site with a wide range of points and opinions. I would like to throw a couple of mentions before I name the actual member of the month, yet before I do, I would like to thank you all for contributions.

When you visit regularly and comment, it provides a lot for the PON site, it gives us a foundation for the community we have and I cannot encourage it enough. This said, all visits and contributors greatly help - so please don't feel ignored if you visit once every so often.

Firstly, @Piety - Brilliant contributor, responses always add a great to deal to the discussions.

@pokerpie - Also has made some excellent contributions and it's nice to see him settling in.

@wacky and @wroughty are also two members who stand out for their efforts with posting detailed responses.

All four of you very much deserve being mentioned and highlighted.

@nottsfever - I made comments within the latest PONcast (soon to be aired, now there's a plug ) I think nottsfever sums up what makes a difference within the community, always getting involved and posting good responses - joins in discussions and talks to other members but also contributes by starting topics. Not only this, I often see nottsfever commenting on our social pages from time to time and it's just fantastic to see.

What clubs do you have a soft spot for and why?

Good morning fellow PoN readers, I hope you are all well. This morning has started cloudy but the forecast is good.

After coming back from our short camping break today is a case of catching up on some work. I've also got to phone my bank as I have been trying to upgrade my online account but the links won't work.

I've still got some maggots left so might do a bit of fishing later, no grandchildren to take so I'll drag Mrs H with me.

Going to have a bit of a warm up for the new season this Saturday.

For those of you who have not played the game before. I will post six fixtures for this weekend and alls you have to do is post your score predictions for each.

If you get the correct score you get 3 points. If you get the right result its 1 point, wrong result is obviously 0 points. And new for this season is the "joker". Smply put "joker" in brackets next to one of your predictions and any points you get for that game will be doubled.

A lovely bright sunny morning for camping. The kids slept exceptionally well, we are off fishing soon, we went yesterday but no luck.

For those of us making the away trip to Stevenage, here is some info that may or may not be helpful.

If travelling by car:
(postcode is SG2 8RH)
- Leave A1(M) at Junction 7 and head into Stevenage.
- Cross over first roundabout (2nd exit)
- Cross over second roundabout (2nd exit) and free parking (500 spaces) is available on your left at Fairlands Valley car park. The ground will be on your right.
- Once you have parked please make your way safely to the ground via the underpass to the far right, by the roundabout. Please do not cross the dual carriageway by running across it.

Note:Please do not park in the adjacent Roaring Meg retail park. New parking rules recently imposed by the Roaring Meg management restrict parking to 90 minutes on a match day, which comes into effect two hours before kick-off. Anyone exceeding this time limit could face a £100 fine. Parking is available in nearby residential streets but we ask fans to be considerate with their parking and not to block driveways.

Fancy a beer?

TheBroadhall Suite is the supporters bar, otherwise there is not much in the way of pubs near to the ground. Still if you like your real ale then it is worth taking the 15 minute walk to the 'Our Mutual Friend' pub in Broadwater Crescent. This pub which is listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide offers seven beers on hand pump, plus real cider and perry. 'The Roebuck Inn on London Road, about a ten minute walk away from the away end may be worth a visit. It's an old tudor building pub with a Best Western Hotel attached. It serves real ale and on my visit it was quite easy to get served. To find this pub; then with your back to the away end, you'll see a wooded path to the left down the side of London Road. Keep following that and it will bring you out by a roundabout, with the pub located on the opposite side.'

The South Stand

Is where away fans are housed… It looks ok, modern enough, it certainly sounds as though they have some good nosh on offer…Pies (£2.50), Baconburgers (£4), Cheeseburgers (£3.50), Burgers (£3), Chicken Burgers (£3), Veggie Burgers (£3), Hot Dogs (£3) and Cheese Dogs (£3.50 But apparently these can sell out pretty quick if there is a crowd….

Good morning everyone. It's a nice sunny, warm start here. We only have 3year old Freddie to look after today as George has gone to a day camp.

I'm going to take Freddie swimming this morning while Mrs H gets some work done, that should be fun, later it's off to Lidle and Asda for a big shop, they boys are staying over tonight then we are taking them a little camping trip tomorrow.

What is the situation with Murray, is he injured, has he played in any of the friendlies so far?

I wonder if he has a future under Moniz.

I'm led to believe these are legit. Thoughts?

Morning all, it's cloudy but warm here this morning.

We are going to a car boot this morning we haven't been to one for ages I am hoping to pick up some fishing tackle and see if there are any other bargains around.

Might pop down to the open day later and take in the Riverside Festival too.

We've got a lovely leg of lamb to have for dinner it's ages since I've had a roast dinner looking forward to that.

What's everyone doing today? Don't forget to join in the daily thread, who needs Facebook?

Here's the chance for Notts to settle folks nerves by putting together a decent display on home soil, if Ricardo Moniz can get the defence to steady themselves, I think optimism will be back on the increase. The result as such isn't important, however I hope we avoid a defeat like Grimsby because Scunthorpe have a decent squad.

I also hope the players are excited about playing in-front of home fans, so we shall see.

I think it will be end to end, with Notts taking the lead. The final score? Possibly 2-2. I would be happy with that, yet I hope for a home win.

So according to the NP we are looking to sign Craig Mackail-Smith... to complement our forward line.

Firstly do we need, want him? Secondly I have heard rumour he has already signed for Luton, the Deal just hasn't been announced yet.

I can't wait, I don't want to do a @Joe Jones but it's fantastic news that Carly Telford is confident about playing. It's just a shame we don't have a backup for the bench, however if you need something to spur you on - Surely this will be one of them reasons? How unfair is by the FA to not permit us to enter a second keeper???

Well, my Chelsea friend is going and I hope we can show him just what being a Notts fan is like by making a lot of racket.

Okay, so far a few weeks (I think) - @cheeky~k8 has been asking me for addresses to send out the prizes, now there had been some delays and mishaps which wasn't my fault but with me being busy, I tend to forget and then every time I am prompted I do too. How are we feeling after last nights defeat, I didn't go but opted for a bbq'd steak a few beers and a couple of glasses of wine, I was keepin tabs on twitter though.

Feeling a bit fragile this morning maybe a glass too many. Ah well today's another day, I've got some gardening to do, there is a big hedge at the side of our property that belongs to next door but they are showing no sign of butting it back so yours truly will have to do it, it's a conifer so if not cut it will soon become unmanageable.

What do you make of Loach and his time with us so far? He looks good training but awkward in games. I'm not sure why but I think we will be relying more on Carroll.

I am really wondered why people are so obsessed with Craigh Mackail-Smith? I mean, any other player he would be getting slated by now for not having made a decision but the thing that annoys me the most is how people are making him to sound to be like our next masirah. He is a very good player, who is perhaps too good for league two but come on, get real people.

If he don't sign for us, watch him end up being plagued by abuse either at games against us or via the twitter trolls.

Can anyone explain it? Why do some fans obsess?

Thank crunchie it's Friday, I imagine this is what a lot of you are saying today for me every day is much like another since I took redundancy from work.

Today is a bit chilly out there but nice and bright. No children to look after so we've got another free day, not sure what we are doing today I fancy doing a bit of fishing so might go a bike ride and take my rod.

Can't decide whoever to go to the match tonight or not, I'm not a fan of friendlies but it's only a fiver for over 60s so I might just decide to go at the last minute.
