Music Matters

Featured Replies

I prefer easy-to-listen-to music. I think the 80s had some great songs and, while I could get through a playlist with songs from that period, I find myself more of a fan of the 70s, with the rock and roll styles being a bit easier to enjoy. I do not like much modern music. @super_ram, I remember my mum watching Sharpe on ITV when I was a little child. The song reminds me of those days.

If I were to name a few preferred artists, I would say Frank Turner, Elton John, The Hollies, Fifth Avenue, Jason Mraz, Coldplay and Michael BublΓ©.

OKΒ  @CliftonMagpie I get it that you are a lot younger than me,mind you I didn't realise till I checked that Sharpe was first broadcast 30 years ago. Also seeing as you like The Hollies too ,I'll say no more.lol

I have a wide variety of taste in music. Although, I don't particularly like today's music. There seems to be a lack of originality and feel good factor like they used to be.Β

Clubland, Rock or Pop Punk are my top 3 genres.

I can just about listen to anything tbf. Mostly due to growing up I was introduced to multiple different types of music.Β

Limp Bizkit and Oasis are up there as my favourites to listen to.Β

I am a Clash fan; that is my favourite band to listen to. I grew up listening to them; all of my friends liked them and for the time they were the coolest act to follow. I do like Queen also. I think Freddie Mercury had one of the best voices in music, closely followed by Morrissey.
