I’d guess she (or her team) had been interviewed and gave an answer like “I’m looking to invest in Knox County”. Meaning she's interested in buying property there. Some doddery old British journalist wasn’t really listening and thought she said Notts County.

this was a weird story, however it got into the media it tricked people and i wonder if she thought about squashing the rumour herself.
