brazilian is rapidly changing, like a lot of south american countries drug lords and gangs have a heavy involvement within the sport. teams from the lower tiers have been seen as teams which make good investment, not just by these corrupt people but also companies seeing it as a way to hide their own assets.

santos has been one of those unfortunate clubs to fall from being such a big club, their fans rioting is a disgrace though.

give them any reasons to kick off and start fights most south american football fans will. its incredibly dangerous.

Clubs that dwell on past glories are always at risk of underperforming and facing relegation. They need to use these experiences as a wake-up call to implement necessary changes sooner.

Many people aren’t aware of the changes that have been made to the Brazilian league. These changes have made it more challenging for teams to maintain their elite status. They are one of only two teams that have never been relegated and have produced countless top Brazilian talents. However, their fans’ behaviour of throwing fireworks, rockets, and flares is quite unacceptable. Can you imagine if we did that every time our club was relegated?

It's also one of the most corrupt leagues in the world, which doesn't help matters.

I wouldn't want to be a player, manager or fan over them, it's just too hostile. It's not passion, it's instilled within their culture that if things don't go your way, outcome the pitchforks and violence.

It's a shame as Santos has a lot of history, but it's hardly the end of the world.

A field where dreams become reality.

It’s frustrating when teams dwell on their past glories, leading to their downfall due to poor performance. A draw might have spared them, but they need to confront and accept relegation. They should aim to bounce back stronger.
