Well Is That Our Activity Done

I think free agents are still available, don't quote me but also we might have paper work signed yet not announced.

Not clutching straws, I don't expect any more news.

im content, i dont think we could expect more. i think we should have kept haynes, he could have been useful and it leaves us with ball, murray, enoch and the one month loan player who i cant spell his name.

think we should have done more but we are notts, that never really happens.

Bit to say, Mullins was a surprise. He is real risk IMO, could be hopeless or could actually be a critical piece of the required jigsaw. Not seen him play for about 2 years, so that makes assessment difficult, but he was a poor to mediocre player at top level because he lacked finesse, pace and the necessary skill. What he dos provide is strength, experience and better touch and awareness than existing midfielders.

Thus, it's wait and see with him for my money.

The others seem even stranger to me, Roberts can only have been signed as cover, surely? He adds nothing that I can see, he's just another slow, limited and fairly shaky defender. Personally, I'd rather persevere with Tempest, who at least has potential and time is on his side. Full back isn't his best position but he offers more than Roberts. If it means Sheehan moves to cb, then it is massive gamble IMO.

Good luck to all the new signings, hope they play their part in our survival.

The lack of a permanent striker is more of a worry for me than the other two signed. Mullins is the midfield general (we hope) to replace fothers. Roberts is the cover for left back as we don't have any. Not sure about him playing regularly though, however good Sheenan may be when moved to CB.

Striker? Oh dear. Ball is not a good acquisition. Appiah may come good, or may not.

A perm striker would be nice!
