The 1-1 Draw with QPR is Macca's Best Performance in a Millwall Shirt according to their Head Coach. He even had an assist. Another Positive comment from the Lions Head Coach is He can tell  that there are Goals ready to come from Macca, lets just hope the Lad can find the Back of the Net soon, and begin to do what he's Best At Scoring Goals.

  • I believe they will gradually bring him into the team. He received a warm welcome and a lot of attention, suggesting that he was signed with the intention of becoming their new star striker. I wish hi

  • It’s a tough friendly. Forest is a huge challenge due to the amount of money and talent they have invested since gaining promotion to the Premier League. Millwall is fortunate to be a Championship tea

  • he cant really be judged in 20 minutes, he needs time to settle and i bet millwall did not create much for him. for 70 minutes, someone else played as a striker for them, i wonder what they did.

I didn’t realised he scored, only just seen this I’m delighted for him. :clapping:

"He can't miss" ... well no, because he'd already run into the perfect position to score. Typical Langstaff goal. Good luck to him, hope it's the first of many!

Just one goal for Macaulay in 12 matches since his move to Millwall.

Should Notts make an audacious bid to get him back on loan till the end of the season in January?

@Robbie

To Be Honest It wouldn't Hurt. Think what Sort of Headlines that would make and the Expectation of the Fans, and Macca returning to the Lane, the Place where all his Fame really began. I Think he'd Slot back in as if he'd Never Been Away and the Goals would come, because he knows Notts Style of Play and the team Knows his Strengths and would play to them and he'd Get His Belief Back, after all you Don't become a Bad Player over night.

But how many times over the Years have you seen a Goal Scorer from the lower leagues get Sold to a Team higher up the Football Pyramid only to fail to capture his Goal Scoring Form higher up? Derek Hales  comes to Mind, Hales who went from Charlton to Derby comes to mind, were he went from scoring 72 goals for Charlton to a mere 4 for the Rams. Yet on his return to Charlton he added another 76 goals to his total to become Charlton's all time leading Scorer. Could that Scenario also be awaiting Macca, with a Return to the Lane?

The step up from League 2 to the Championship has been tough for Macaulay...

itz easy and obvious that macaulay langstaff has found it difficult, tfw are stating what everyone knows. they just need to be more patient, a few signings in january and then next season should see him do better. you cant expect him to just instantly be a success.

I don’t want discredit and diss all the league 2 centre backs but the standard of player he’s playing against will have increased dramatically. For perspective Lee Gregory scored 9 goals in the Championship for Millwall, they were relegated and the next season in League 1 he scored 18 goals. That shows you the difference in quality from League 1 to the Championship is big. Even if Macca isn’t scoring, playing in the Championship will make him a better player.

I think everyone would’ve been slightly surprised if Macca had gone two Millwall and continued his strike rate. He’s only had 9 shots this season, he probably used to get 9 shots per game with us! That’s just how it is at Millwall though. They don’t create many chances and so they don’t score tons of goals. They grind out results, in their last 5 games they haven’t scored more than 1 goal per game…

Macca had just one goal in twenty six appearances for Millwall since is transfer from Notts.

Will things turn around for the better for Macca. Will he be loaned out to another Club, or will he be sold on?

It looks to me that he is really struggling with the Millwall style. The Notts style of play was just perfect for him.

Millwall have signed another forward, does this mean Macca will be out on loan today?

Macca is not currently in the Millwall squad because he's injured.
