A 1-1 draw in the end for Notts in the final game of the regular league 2 season.

So who is your Man of the Match for Notts? I have chosen the starting eleven for you to make your choice. Those players are,

Belshaw Ness, McDonald, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Jones, Grant, Luker, Jatta.

I'll agree with the sponsors today and say Tsaroulla.

MP has a selection headache ahead of Chesterfield. Attacking midfield as per usual, but now central I think. Of the central midfielders on show today, I thought the best was Norburn (unusual for me). Palmer was especially shaky. What to do?

Jones had a very good first half. Ness continues to impress.

Nick Tsaroulla played brilliantly, and he was on my list before the sponsors named him as their Man of the Match but I felt Jodi Jones deserves it. He was brilliant in the first half, and I don't think he should have gone off. I believe Jones would have been more incontention with others opinions had this happened, but Jones did some really neat defensive work and was excellent going forward.

My top four players today were James Belshaw, Jacob Bedeau , Alassana Jatta & Nick Tsaroulla, but Nick Tsaroulla was above the rest. So my choice is Nick Tsaroulla.

I’m going with Nick Tsaroulla as well, he had an excellent game and topped it off with a well taken goal.

I’m not sure Palmer was 100% hence why he didn’t start, maybe it was a bit of test to see how he was before the play-offs but I thought he looked like he wasn’t able to really run properly. I wonder if he's got a big of muscle irritation or something?

Iorpenda claimed all the awards at the start of the match but then he went on to have a really average performance for his standards, I thought Norburn played a lot better then him.

Jones was great first half, pretty much all our attacks came down that side, he was just knackered by about the 60th minute, which is a tad worrying. Still think he had the biggest influence so I went for him.

@Robbie I felt Jatta gave a poor account of himself, he had one moment where he caused them to make a mistake by persisting to challenge for the ball. I felt it was like he was 3-4 seconds behind everyone else in the game, his first touch seemed off, his decision to shoot was often clumbsy at late. I am not attacking your opinion, just adding to the conversation with my own take.

There were times he could have pressured the Bristol Rovers keeper, but ran only half bothered.

Some friends who don't support Notts even critised him after the game, it wasn't like how he can be and there was some who felt it was a sign that he will be off. I thought he did okay, but nothing to warrant the time he had on the pitch. I would have rather see Lee Ndlovu come on sooner, as he injects his pace in a way that makes people rush.

I agree @chris Jatta was poor yesterday, his first touch was awful and he had some good chances but failed to put them away which is what a striker is there for. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave in the summer.
