Won 4-0. Goals from a Ronan Murray penalty, Tyrell Waite x2 and a trialist. Only bad news is Jimmy Spencer was brought down for the penalty and had to come off after just 20 minutes. No telling how serious it was but by all accounts he really wasn't moving at all well...

Attendance was 1019, big pay day for Arnold

loved seeing Waite perform in Spencer's absence but hope all is well and he is back on his feet soon. also liked how Fyfe was it, did today, seemed like there was many comments about brilliant runs from him? Youth team right? How did he look if anyone saw it?

4 in total on trial last night? Injury to Spencer is a worry. No sign of Haynes last night?

Big tests against Derby & Brum.

Hoping spenno is ok and it was just a twitch.

I think Derry said he's one of the most important peices of the puzzle.

Good start

Tyrell Waite looked class, much better with the youth team however as they were more direct.

Kyle Dixon put in a decent shift at right back, though I was disappointed not to see him start. I didn't see Dumbuya but Danny Haynes was reported as present, he didn't play or train tho. The first half was slow building, quite a few seemed scared or concerned about getting injured. Alan Smith played very well defensively but offered little going forward, I am concerned about the creativity and wideness we don't have currently.

Much better in the second half.

Any news on Spencer?

He was walking carefully, albeit with support at first. It seemed a case of being sore/bruised to me, if it was serious - I strongly doubt he would be walking at all. Though I'm no doctor, I expect him just to rest.

it sounded like a good game once the youngsters came on, hopefully the first team will step it up a bit before the season starts. we just need to avoid injuries!

If it is true what the lad that tackled JS has been writing on facebook then at the very least Arnold Town should release him, disgusting behaviour to say the least

It was on his Facebook I think, the person in question is Ryan Krause & he said "9 - 12 months what a shame ha ha ha" during a conversation with his mates where he was boasting about what happened

Just seen this on mad. Disgusting behaviour. Especially when Arnold are trying to forge a new relationship with Notts.
