We are hearing that Notts County are closing on a deal for former Bradford midfielder Garry Thompson.


 


That's taken from SKY Transfer Center. 


 


Not sure he's the answer to our winger problems. 33 years old. League 2 is where he has done his work. Wait and see I guess.

Seems to be a good crosser, but slow paced. Hopefully the experience part will help deliver final balls. JCR was exciting to watch, but he still lacked the final killer ball. Hopefully Thompson will give a final ball, with less ghosting and losing possession.


 


Trying to look on the positive.


 


Shame though as I'm a great believer in the tricky winger play. Love to watch expansive football with great wingers.
