Love or hate him, this guy can make the most of intelligence - Perhaps not when it comes to managing a football side but he sure knows how to apply it in the media (provided he actually wrote his book).

Roy Keane: I didn't sign Robbie Savage for Sunderland because his voicemail said 'Hi, it's Robbie - whazzup!'

  • Keane reveals he didn't sign Robbie Savage for Sunderland because of his voicemail message
  • 'Whazzup' featured on the Budweiser advert in the early 2000s
  • At the time the Blackburn midfielder was struggling for playing time
  • Responding on Twitter, Savage said: 'Oh come on Roy whattttsuppppppppp !!!! Hahahaha'

I think Robbie's tweet was ever so funny! That's one thing I like about Robbie Savage, not much else I do mind.

Seen some things that came from his book and is reported via the media..

Love him or hate him, (I'm largely indifferent), he is entertaining and provokes interesting reactions.

He's like a hand grenade, pull the pin, throw it in, sit back and enjoy the fireworks :)

I'm sure Peter Schmeichel would agree with you.....

One thing you should never do is pull his pin :P

God, what as the world come to? Roy Keane's written a book? That is the most surprising thing about all this.

He's managed to draw a lot of interest from the book, shame it's all for the wrong reasons. Good player in his prime, never good enough for Real Madrid so he should not regret that.

Roy in his prime would have made Real Madrid stronger. They needed a ball winning, physical presence in midfield.

This is his 2nd book. The first one is about his early career. Well worth a read. His arguments with the FAI are the stuff of legend.....
