Years ago Notts fans use to sing , we are Notts , we are Notts ,instead of the Nottingham Nottingham version . Is it time to resurrect it ?

Yes it'd be good to see some of the old songs resurrected and you have cited a perfect example, "we are Notts, we are Notts" is much more suited and unique to us, let them across the river sing the Nottingham song.

We should sing 'We are the Pride of Nottingham', not because it promotes this place but because I firmly feel we are the Pride of the inner city.

Forest can have the Pride of Hugging Trees Or perhaps 'Nottinghamshire'.
