Onwards and upwards.  Whilst a bit of gloom surrounded meadow lane on Sunday evening, and not all of it was post-bonfire-related, things could be worse...

Fans of the Sky Blues have been through the proverbial in recent seasons, and - despite being "sent to Coventry" having positive connotations since their return to the Ricoh - their FA Cup exit at home to Worcester must rank as a new recent low.

Was that their "Havant a clue" moment?

So - links between us two clubs, think there's a few, so I'll start with a trio;

- Brian Kilcline

- Leon Best

- Dele Adebola.

Over to you...

David Pipe.

It's about time they had a break (but not against us!). I can't quite imagine what it's actually like to support a team that hasn't finished in the top six since the swinging sixties.

all those of a nervous disposition, look away now...

Not many of you will remember Terry Bly in 1963 he moved from Coventry to Notts he played 29 games and scored 4 goals for us.

My memories are vague but I seem to remember being excited about this great new goal scorer we had signed only to find out he didn't cut the mustard. Sound familiar?

Good grief, that would be a long list....

When was the last time we had a Keegan/Toshack, Sutton/Shearer, Sharp/Heath, type partnership? One that just oozed goals

Not counting Hughes/Rodgers, as I feel Rodgers didn't get enough to be classed like that
