Decent result, performance is not the end of the world.

I will take this and the way we played, wins can help freshen things up and if we get to the final how nice would it be for the players!

I'm pleased by the result, it sounded like we played very well defensively.

The pressure really seemed to be on us at times and it's never easy playing away from home, I'm not really in the know since I wasn't at the game and the performance is something which be overlooked a little. The fact we won, it does speak volumes and we move on.

My brother moans like buggery when Notts don't play well, but at the end of the day you don't get points for playing pretty do ya now. Play crap grind out a 1-0 = 3 points, play pretty and lose 1-0 = 0 points. And i'll keep on saying it to him. Don't get points for how ya play! COYP!

If we win on saturday playing in a similar way, people will respond differently.

Truth is we was not that great and we did not lose, which is the case. then it cant be all that bad, there was spells in the game we looked good but chances ended up being wasted. They played well, forcing carroll to make some saves i felt the defence should have sorted but we got the result. Good win against a good opposition that should be higher towards the end of the season.
