and now snow is forecast!

  • 2 weeks later...

It's grim up north I tell ya...

For the last two nights I have taken my life in my hands, my boss decided it would be a good idea to drive a 15.9 ft truck empty up the M6, did he not here gales on the forecast, well that was Thursday, cue wagons blown over, thankfully not mine.

Friday, take a little trip to Leeds, hmmm the A66 closed to high sided vehicles, ok so I had a full milk tanker, shimples...

The A1 was carnage, signs destroyed, 5 or 6 wagons over, one still standing had its roof peeled off like a tin of pilchards...

Coming back empty was a different story, but hey ho, only one Argos artic jack-knifed near Carlisle.

There have been roofs blown off, power outages, trees down, debris everywhere, in fact it reminds me of a scene from I am Legend

Nice and bright here this morning, although we may get some snow tonight.

It started snowing here, I got all excited and then it turned to bloody rain.

Plus I have to leave the house in 41 minutes to attend a meeting, which I am now not really looking forward to. Roll on passing my test! It wouldn't be a problem then, though I don't mind rain. It's just mainly with me feeling around 45% due to illness.
