Died at the age of 70. A voice pure in soul and as gritty as it should be.

I heard on the radio earlier that he had been suffering and had passed a way, I grew up watching the wonder years and his version of the famous song was it's theme tune. Very powerful vocals, nobody could really replicate his passion which was instilled in his singing.

Very saddened to hear about the loss but at least he's no longer suffering.

It's been a bad year for loses, I know it's only natural but this and Rik Mayall, along with others just seems a bad year.

Another icon from my teen years.In my opinion his version of the Beatles  'With a little help from my friends' is the best ever cover of an original song.I'm very saddened by this news.Also very under-rated.Terrific voice and a nice guy too.
