Do you read papers

Either pressed form or online? I read them on my mobile these days, I subscribe via Apples magazine app. Rarely do I buy a paper to read from a shop or stand these days.

What about you?

No, I stopped reading them quite a few years ago, I used to read the local weekly paper but that was only because I worked for them and got one free, I don't bother with them at all now.

I go on the BBC news website for the latest news

Same as @tonyhateley really. I look at BBC or Sky News/Sports on the net. I only ever read a paper if we're away on hols then for some reason we end up buying one every day!

i used to buy a paper when I worked but I only buy one on Saturdays now and that's only for the TV guide and puzzles.

I read the Cumberland and Westmorland herald on a Saturday...and The Sunday Express, purely for the magazine... crossword and tv guide.

I don't buy papers, only rarely do I ever break this rule. I read everything online!

I'd never subscribe to one either, unless the quality called for it and I don't think there's any out there that would make me think it does. That's why papers have to change, as I see more people losing that interest. Majority of the news I read is just sports related, so there's no point in buying a paper.

Use Twitter to keep up to date and listen to Radio Derby/Notts. I use BBC Sports app and read the BBC news app if I'm bored.

Papers have had their day for my generation.

Would anyone miss them? I don't think we are that far from it happening myself. I actually would because locally they do have their worth and value.

I try to avoid hearing news of any kind and from any source and anything that I allegedly need to know filters down in time. My son says that I should have lived in medieval times.

I believe there is an election later this year and I will once again vote for all candidates since they are all pretty similar ... I call it a protest vote but I doubt if many will agree.
