I just went on facebook, I stumbled across this post by PON. I am surprised nobody posted it here!!

Bad news! It's being reported that â€ª#‎Notts‬ duo Jon Stead and Liam Noble are likely to miss tomorrow's game against Mansfield due to injury.

What are your thoughts on this? Who should come in if either are unable to feature in the local derby game?

Let PON know...

What do you make of this?

I sort of expect one to at least pass a late fitness check.

Liam Noble has been on fire, which I don't think he will want to sit this one out. Considering he played on after cutting his head open last year and scoring that screamer afterwards, I think he will be all fired up to start and potentially force his way back into the squad for tonight selection. It all depends though, I mean it might not be wise but I do think even if neither make it - We have enough cover and quality in depth.

It's no worries for me.

PS. I had hoped someone would pick this up. ;)

i hope they are both okay, @RayTrew can you tell us anything about how serious these injuries are?

They're "slight" doubts, they'll be reyt. Ricky might rest Stead, as we've got a ready-made replacement in Spencer. Noble's most natural replacement would be Swerts, as we've got plenty of other players who can slot in at RB, but I assume he's suspended.

Hopefully its nothing serious, it will be interest if either turn up tonight or not. That would be one factor, though they both might play.
