3 games in, thoughts?

Be honest, what do you think three league games in? are you concerned? Is it too early to panic? Are you still optmistic???

I am concerned about our defence, it looked good against Stevenage but poor compared to Mansfield and Oxford. Three games in, I still think it's too early go panic, the players do need time and Moniz deserves the support. If the end product is Stevenage style performances, we must back him. It's way to early to start panicking but my optimistic views are disappearing.

It's still early, I can't say I am overly concerned but within the highlights of the Oxford games - They didn't impress me and I am disappointed that we lost after taking the lead but these things happen. I think once the squad settles, Moniz is able to stamp his mark on the squad, I think we will be pushing up but the defence needs working on.

are you concerned?

No, I'm not overly concerned. As I say, it's too early and we have to see after 6-7 games. Improvements will come, I think signing a CB and ST would be a step in the right direction.

Is it too early to panic?

3 games in? It would suggest it's too early. I would understand if Stevenage battered us too and Huddersfield never happened but those are promising signs and I think the squad just needs to re-group. If we can avoid pressure, confidence should grow again.

Are you still optmistic???

I am still optimistic, I have no reason not to be. If we sort the errors out, it should allow us to play our proper game.

It is very early to be grabbing for sharp objects based on form alone. The worrying aspect is how Ray and Aileen seem to have diverted from their words in the summer. At the end of season review with RM it was said many times and vehemently that 26 ( I think ? ) players in the squad and no more was the ideal set up.Quality over Quantity was the plan. The program list of players had 40 listed to my eye. It worries me that in such a short few months we are so far removed from the ideal structure that Ray and Aileen and RM were so focused on having.

I think @COYP1862 pretty much summed up my thoughts, three games in it's too early to make a judgement there is a lot of water to go under the bridge before I really get concerned.

Don't forget this is a completely new team/squad and the need time as does Ricardo to get across to tho layers how he wants them to perform, another 10-12 games and we should be seeing how things are taking shape and hopefully it will be looking lots better.

Pilkington is no.40 but some numbers aren't used, and if you count Edwards and Pilkington as coaches that means a squad of 33. So 7 more than what they said at the End of Season review. I suppose running a reserve team and having players for the future such as Sarpong and Richards might explain that. Also weren't some players transfer listed?

I'm concerned about the defence.

I don't think it's time to panic. Yet.

I'll be optimistic if Moniz can turn his Oxford post-match interview into action.

I don't accept that the last two games are our standard of play, I also insist improvements are met, I may not be a paying fan but I am a supporter. This said, I have every faith better is to come and for that reason, no I am not worried.
